Prince.... No ya didnt. NOOOOO WAY greed bay was getting rid of him and no way is he gona leave green bay if they are willing to give him what he wants. As much as anyone says it doesnt. Switching teams after this long kinda hurts your legacy a lil bit. Look at brett for example. If he would have just retired from green bay and never played another snap he would be alot more respected and loverd than he is.

One thing I have always loved about Aaron is how intelligent he is. He looks at/studies every single aspect of the game. I sure hope he finishes his career playing for the Green Bay Packers.

So, what I am gathering from all the pre-season drama, is that Aaron wants to be able to speak his mind, not in conflict with the front office, but just have the freedom to say what he thinks. In 45 years of watching interviews (ESPN etc.) these last few days of press confereences have shown how the truth is fun to hear, and if he brought that perspective due to his un-happiness, so be it. This is way more enlightening than "You threw and interception, how did that make you feel?" Credit to the Packers organization to bring this to us as fans and really hear from the stars on this team, and what they are thinking and how they feel about the team.
Packers have no choice but to let Rodgers do and say what he wants this year or they will lose their job, GB, and the fan base.

One thing I learned about Aaron this past two seasons is that a persons legacy is their lives, and should be valued much more then it is in nfl front offices.
I will never understand the destructive narrative that’s portrayed by analysts and media. This guy is smarter and more talented than just about anyone on the field at any given point and it’s been so obvious that he cares so much about his coaches and teammates. The only reason us packers fans have enjoyed sustained success is because of 12 and he’s never been given free agent help or draft picks to help him offensively. The packers front office manages to have sustained mediocrity but this guy makes us great almost every year he’s been there. I am so sorry for how everyone outside the locker room has treated you Aaron.

Woodson had Aarons back and for whatever reason the Packers got rid of those guys which is the core of the beef. I am so glad we are moving past it.

There's just a night and day difference when you watch press conferences from Aaron vs another great QB like Tom Brady.
Just the level of introspection and the ability to articulate it puts Rodgers in a different league when it comes to football IQ.
If he's not coaching after he hangs it up, then it would be a travesty.
IQ isn't everything in coaching. It's most important for sure, but there also has to be a level of humility. A coach no matter how smart must recognize that he doesn't know it all.

This franchise has been blessed to have had Favre and then this guy at QB1 for the last 30 years. Looking forward to the last dance this year with Davante and Co in Green Bay and a great rest of his career with the Raiders from next year onwards.
