But I just love watching the now fading breed of the old school QBs- Rogers, Brady, Young, Elway, Montana, Brees, Marino, Farve, Jones, Theisman, even (Stabler and Bradshaw although I could not stand either team) just to name a few. One day like so many things the old schools will be just a memory and a video clip.
Man is hellbent on not being viewed the way Favre was at the end. I think he will graciously step aside, if thats the decision from the team. Gotta give #12 credit for that.
Unfortunately I think that already has happened. Favre won a ring early on and then had nothing to show after. Same with Rodgers, won that ring early on and an empty void of accomplishments after as well. IMO it’s best to win it all at the end over winning it early and never again for years after.
@@daveclark8337 The Rodgers and Favre exits were very different. Rodgers doesnt hold an insane grudge against the team, despite clearly being at odds with management at the end. I would say the departure from both sides was as gracious as it could be.
He look's like a man that's beat down. Football is the toughest game there is especially for quarterbacks. You have to be mentally tough and physical to last in the game. Your IQ can only get you so for in this game. What ever he decides it has been a grate run.
Definitely felt like a goodbye at the end - he’s still got more than enough Arm talent. I just think he needs to move on to a real contender next year.
ML&R to 12..I always knew he was going to be succesful after 4 but just like when 12 took over for 4, I believe 10 deserves his chance just like 12 got his after 4. Nothing personal in this game it's a business.
For the first time ever, I believe Aaron does have a part in the blame for the worst season we've seen in a long, long time. However, the franchise has been nothing but ungrateful to him, we literally wasted the prime of one of the greatest QB's the game has ever seen, and unlike many others, I'm nor very positive for what the future has to offer. J. Love is NOT the answer to our problems, and he is most definitely not the future of the franchise. If you think otherwise, come back to this comment next January.
I am a 72 year old woman who has been a faithful supporter of the packers and Rodgers for his whole career until yesterday after the loss to the lions , I am now questioning that. It is not the loss so much, it’s the packers did not even show up. It was obvious they did not care, they were loose with the ball, they showed no love for the game. They make so much money so it is so disappointing watching the team end the year like this where going home and warming your feet up is more important. I feel really bad for all the packer fans who were at the game. They certainly did not get there moneys worth.
Whether he comes back for one more or not, I love this guy and appreciate all that he has done for the franchise and all the memories!

How’s this for respect?
Aaron, we appreciate you as a quarterback, but please do us all a favor and….. retire. You’re overdue and it needs to happen today. Thanks again!
@@R.P.E lol u act like he’s even gonna acknowledge and read these RUclips comments. Do better man
@@jeffjefferson2974 I don’t understand why you’re being so defensive over my own opinion Jeff, just like you have one. I mean, did someone kick your dog or something? I put out my _respectful_ opinion that he needs to retire and it needs to happen today. He’s failed year after year for 13 years in a row. It’s time to go. Like today.
Failed? A The MVP’s etc? Interesting but awful opinion.
We gave him everything $$$$$ & he is a playoff choke over & over … We should have traded AR two contracts ago … We could have got two football teams for him .
Aaron has been selfish & a horrible team leader .
That’s my quarterback 😢
Correction. That WAS your quarterback.
@@R.P.E nah that’s my qb and always Will be… Idgaf if he retires or gets traded. Best qb in packers history.
T.o crying voice "that's not fair..that's my quarterback"
😢😢
Your qb who threw an int as his last throw at lambeau
@@johncena6701BITCH please he was about to get sacked anyways
As a Patriots fan still coping with losing Brady, I wish Packers fans the best.
Whatever he does and wherever he goes. Whether if he stays or if he leaves, 12 will always have my heart. I will support him through and through. Not only my favorite athlete of all time, but one of the most interesting and romantic persons.
He has brought light to a lot of things that can help people. Nothing but love for 12. For ever and ever, the GOAT.
Go Packers, I really hope Aaron comes back for another year but time will tell.
Rodgers isn't going anywhere. If he was very set on retiring he would announce it, he's coming back.
GO Lions
Hopefully The Organization Can Work Something Out In Order To Keep Aaron Rodgers For At Least 2 More Years
@@whatsupmonitor And Still The Lions Won But Still Are Not In The Playoffs Explain That Loser 😆😅😂😁😀😃😄
Who was the last player to announce their retirement during the last games press conference?
Wrong. Whatever year this man retires, he will not announce it in a post-game presser. He will take time and contemplate. Do you not know him at all?
If you look at his eyes... they flicker after that last minute. Then they just relax, almost like relief. It pains me to see you strained by the team you loved. It was an honor to live with you after Brett Favre
We (I ) love you no matter what❤
Cmon ARod just one more Super Bowl appearance at least with the pack
Hate to break it to you, but that ship has pretty much already sailed.
rodgers got nothing left, its time to let him go..
what i got out of this is that if we dont pick some players up over the offseason hes gone but thank you 12
He can't be the Whole Team that Lost. Many Mistakes were made by The Team Members, he is Still one of the Top 5 Quarterbacks in the NFL.... He should play with the New Talent another year.
It was time.....a few years ago!!!! I love all the "me and I" comments.
Packers organization please don’t let this man walk away yet !!!!!!
its time to move on
Yes.
He’s staying and we’re having a winning record next year no doubt
💯
N they will hav a WR
He'll be back. Packer for life
Don’t go Aaron!! I just love the way he plays win or lose. He’s among the tops in my book. Don’t get me wrong, Allen, Mahomes, Hurts, and the like are great QB’s of today.
IT'S BEEN REAL RODGERS!
Lafleur is perfectly fine
Where we are today. This press conference says it all.
Turns out he's just like Favre. Said he was ready to retire 2 years ago and then jumped to Jets.
@@daveclark8337 The Rodgers and Favre exits were very different. Rodgers doesnt hold an insane grudge against the team, despite clearly being at odds with management at the end. I would say the departure from both sides was as gracious as it could be.
He’s a hall of fame if you look at all of his stats together you can see the amount of int he threw and look at others
How do you win 4 in a row , have everything go right for you and then play like that?
Give Aaron one more season. He can’t go out on an interception and a season led by rookies and with a broken thumb and ribs. One more for redemption
Come back next year and practice more with the receivers. One more let's go!
Lets GO Lions
Nope it's time to move on to Jordan Love
Keep Rodgers! He's one of the most talented QB's of all time. Just put the pieces he needs around him.
Ungrateful fans
Agreed.
To be fair half the negative comments are salty Viqueens and Lions fans
50 mil to have a losing record and miss the playoffs? Nope

You kidding Rodgers played horrible all year look at his stats lol 😅
Perhaps the greatest REGULAR season quarterback of all time.
Time for a qb change! Stop living in the past! Love is the future!
ML&R to 12..I always knew he was going to be succesful after 4 but just like when 12 took over for 4, I believe 10 deserves his chance just like 12 got his after 4. Nothing personal in this game it's a business.
When Green Bay stops playing PRE-Season football, they will win again. Go Pack Go!
Sam old play, "talk about me leaving so you don't talk about how I lost". Can't blame him, it works every time.
💯💯💯💯
He's answering the questions given to him. He didn't write the questions you do realize? What a cynical take.
If you think otherwise, come back to this comment next January.
we still haven’t seen what love can do let him play couple games next season as a qb1 and we’ll see
You are so right about Love!
Let’s not forget Favre’s talent for wasted too.
All those winning seasons yet also only one ring came from it all.
Okay Kyle
And we’re gonna miss you pal💯
Hey Aaron you are a great one

Yes. Let's put all our decisions on hold while you decide what you want to do... look how well that worked at the beginning of last year.
