All of this is so impressive so far, but when I heard that it doesn't have a built-in battery, I just automatically steered clear and just go with the older Mogo Pro or even the new Nebula Capsule 3 Laser
Hi Chigz, great review as always. How would you rate this projector against Epson EF-12 Laser for Business/PowerPoint Presentations in board rooms with big windows bringing in light? If this is not so good, what budget options would you recommend my bigman. I urgently need one for software demonstrations. Thank you
Does it work with 3D Blu rays? I see that you use 3d Video files that are SBS or Top Bottom, I have a 3D player and 3D blurays. Just want to know if this can play them.
Very nice review. But my question is whether it definitely supports Netflix? As the Xgimi projectors are not certified for Netflix. I'm a bit confused.
Thanks for the great review! What I couldn't find anywhere and I was hoping you could answer that: I suppose you used gaming mode while gaming. While using that mode the autokeystone features are disabled, right? does that mean you have to position it fully in the center or is there still some angle possible? If you didn't use gaming mode, how was the input lag. I would use it for single player games only
It seems to be increasing more I have a doubt as it only has 1 USB input and 1 HDMI input If I want to plug more equipment into it with a ( Switch HDMI )Will it work? Or every time I want to plug in a new device I will have to remove the cables from the accessories that are already connected in the project. Could you give me this information before I Buy
Nice , another great review Chigz, thanks the auto or ISA feature is awesome to see now its in 2.0 it will really save you some time setting up your projector, is the 400 ISO lumens equivalent to 400 ansi too? I think the texts are also clear , it's just right to put it on the upper list of your ranking charts.
I have Mogo 2 Pro but all video from usb, or from internet is stuttering. I try different framerate, different resolutions and video is still not smooth
Great Review. I am currently looking into buying thisone or the Halo Plus, can get it for roughly 100 more than mogo 2 Pro. To me, seems like it has much more to offer, 2-3x brighter, better image processing (and dedicated gaming mode 25ms), build in battery and so on. I miss USB C on the Halo Plus but that would be the only big point for me as size is rather similar and both fit in a bagpack. Which one would you recommend?
@@ChigzTech thanks for the feedback. As said, I can get it from a local dealer for 100 more so not much more money luckily. I think I will go with the Halo Plus then, thanks.
Great review! How would you compare it to the Foremovie S5, mainly in terms of image quality? I'm in serious doubts between the two. The Mogo biggest advantage for me would be the 3D capability, since I still have some nice 3D blu-rays. But it seems that the S5 has the better image quality, so I'm really in doubt!
Would it be possible to connect multiple Bluetooth headphones at the same time? 🤔 Planning to get it on the balcony and with the neighbors might not be the best idea! 😂🙆♂️😭
Bought this projector after watching this review and your other video where you compared it to the Nebula Capsule. Very disappointed to learn that what you said about it supporting Passive 3D glasses is not true, which means I now have to return it - and the pack of polarised glasses I bought from Amazon. Reviews like this should be reliable, especially when they're actually featured on the product's own website.
Thanks Chingz! The lack of built in battery is an absolute deal breaker for me personally, in terms of portability. The Halo+ (while more expensive) seems to offer a better option in terms of portability thanks to the internal battery. And the Original Mogo Pro seems to be the best cheap option. If in built battery wasn't an issue, the XGimi Elfin seems much more petite and elegant, while also being more powerful, and in the same price ballpark..
@@brotha1984 Oh damn. Thanks for the warning. I have the Nebula 1st gen, and that is really good with battery life (after around 4 years of use, still lasts around 2 hours, and can be powered through a small USB C power bank). I was hoping the XGIMI would be in a similar ballpark
Batteries are stupidly expensive, add weight and in a compact form they are useless for watching full length movies anyway. Plug-in versions are not only more reliable and practical but there is more room to fit better tech or speakers without a chunky battery taking up space. Better off using a big Powerbank if you don't have access to an electrical outlet.
Latency, Input lag tests, any scientifically provable test on the two will be highly appreciated
I have it. It is good. I don't about the price because I bought it because I need what it offers, but it is a great tool, and small, and great sound.
Yes absolutely
All of this is so impressive so far, but when I heard that it doesn't have a built-in battery, I just automatically steered clear and just go with the older Mogo Pro or even the new Nebula Capsule 3 Laser
You show off gaming footage, but what was the latency like? Any noticeable input delay? Thanks
it has a game mode and its below 35ms i guess
Amazing technology, I'm impressed, another great find and review. Thank you. 👍🏼👍🏼
Thanks 🙌
I am still using the H1. One dead pixel in 7 years. This doesn't have enough lumens.
And no battery which is a minus on a small portable device
Yes this looks great.
Awesome video Chigz ❤
Most appreciated 🙏

EF-12 is better for presentations etc, with its higher brightness and contrast, will certainly make a difference.
You should check out his projector chart.
Can u only watch 3D thru the USB port? Can't I use with the HDMI port, connected to a 3D bluray player?
If you could choose between XGIMI MoGo Pro 2 and Nebula Mars 3 Air. Which one would you choose?

How does this compare to the halo+ projector? Which is better in your opinion?
great review and the details are giving us so much info on my purchase, thanks!👍👍👍👍👍👍
Happy to hear, thanks for watching 🙌
Hey Chigz, do you have any idea if it supports active 3D glasses via bluetooth?
Is it true it only needs Passive polarized glasses? No DLP or active shutter? If so Im sold
Very nice review. But my question is whether it definitely supports Netflix? As the Xgimi projectors are not certified for Netflix. I'm a bit confused.
They give a small paper with instructions of installing or

Yes ISA 2.0 is a game changer. Also 1 ANSI lumen is equivalent to 0.87 ISO lumens. Thanks for watching.
500 ANSI
good review, any recommendations on a good 65w power bank.
I have Mogo 2 Pro but all video from usb, or from internet is stuttering. I try different framerate, different resolutions and video is still not smooth
Does not sound right, yours might be faulty. Speak with CS.
Same problem...
This is probably because you are using keystone correction. Which should be ok to do.. But.. it's not....
Another great review👍
Thanks 👍
agreed

Halo plus is more money, nearly £200 more… The MoGo 2 Pro offers a great performance for the price. But if I had to compare, the Halo+ wins on paper.

What do you recommend old MoGo Pro or new MoGo 2 no pro
The new for sure

Really 3D with polarized glasses??? With projection on not silver polarized screen?
Passive 3D glasses
Not true, sadly.
This unit requires Active 3D glasses, not that XGIMI state or advertise this ANYWHERE for this model.

A pleasant day sir can make a review of the Philips screeneo U4 its
Was going to buy the halo+ for myself. But for the price, I can basically buy 2 of these. Maybe I'll get the halo for me and the mogo for my daughter
I think MoGo 2 Pro offers the right balance for the price. It’s good value and pretty good performance.

Looks great, however, being a DLP projector is it still likely to suffer the rainbow effect to those that are susceptible to it?
Did not experience it myself.
@@ChigzTech That begs the question, do you usually? Some people just aren't, but for those that are, it can be awfully distracting.

Most portable have just 2 hours of battery. Not really losing much imo

Is this information is correct..?
Mogo 2 is better than mogo 2 pro?
I dont like the design of this Sonos beamer. Btw the lens isnt fully visible.
Auto off after 2 to 3 mins from the day 1. Not happy.
