Thank you so much for watching everyone! I have an electric guitar version of this tune on the channel as well! It's a bit different, but I hope you'll like that one too! :) Kind regards/E
Such a beautiful song and so masterfully played! BRAVO Emil! And I like the guitars of Ted Astrand very much. Wonderful sounding and great design. But I know, you can make every guitar sing! :-) Hey, Pasha, you made a perfect sounding vid, congrats buddy! Cheers Bernd
If I move anywhere it'll be Sweden. So many great guitarists. Maybe if I move there I can convince Lori Lindstruth to pick up the guitar again and train dogs at the same time. Gabriella Quevedo lives there too. I've never heard of Jan Johansson but he's another one. The list goes on and on. I love Sweden and your excellent playing. I'll have to listen to Jan Johansson but you are always good enough for me.
Seriously man you are my favourite guitarist! I never had an education in music but I just like your style jazzing pieces on the guitar. I don't know why and how but all of your piece you play always a a magicness somehow attached to it! My honest that piece really has some groovy stuff to it but also a lot different dynamic in it too. Dynamics doesn't makes a song good itself but the way you use it is simply magical in my opinion! As always your music always finds the way to make me smile seriously! :D
Just a comment on the last paragraph above: Another reason that it sounds good is ... :-) If you ever want good music, contact Emil! I recall that you have recently sold one of your Matons. May we hope that you placed an order for a Åstrand build when visiting his workshop?
Yes, it's about migration from Sweden to Canada via Liverpool. The lyrics are as melancholic as the melody, depicting suffering, longing, illness and death.

Tack för tipset Emil 👍. Jag är tämligen säker på att Jan Johansson diggar dina tolkningar ordentligt uppe i sin himmel.
This is solid. The variations in intensity hits the spot.
As nobody can have your 'musicality' .. you're unique, Emil !
Awesome version !

Jan wasn't a guitar player but a jazz pianist - and a great one at that. 😊

I think the magic comes from a combination of soul and technique. But technique is a an expression of soul so wtf its just full of soul.
nice touch......
Ljuvligt!
Kungligt 😍
un poco más y suena a perfecta chacarera santiagueña😆👏👏👏
Jazz pa svenska gick varm i tonarsrummet tillsammans med all metal :) Grym tolkning (som alltid).

Nice job!
Do you have tabs for this arrangement? :)
Perhaps you can share with us your thoughts on what makes a piece or performance so heartfelt(for the listener) that we consider it magic?
Jösses!
Magnus Carlsen?! What are you doing playing the guitar? You should be preparing for the chess world Championships!
What is this tune about? Seems like it's about the struggle immigrants come across to get a visa
