I love the car ride with Sam, Jason and Jake because it seems like Jason realized he could have had BOTH his son and his relationship with Sam if he would have been truthful in the beginning and work through their issues. But I am glad that Sam went through what she went through because she grew as a character greatly and came into own without solely relying on Jason but herself.
Now Liz cares about Jake? She wasn't thinking of this safety when she was running after or wanted to get married to Jason though did she? Sam proved that she would have been a great mom to Jake by risking her life for him.

Jason should feel like SHIT at 3:15! Look how good Sam was with his son? This is how it should've played out in the first place (after the writers made the very bad decision not to give Sam his firstborn). So therefore we will never ever truly know if Jake is Jason’s biology child!! Oh and we all know exactly how much a psycho Lizard truly is and she will and did do whatever she could, that is to get Jason in bed.
