About your diabetes? Sonny!
I wonna know how much they charge for that deep fried pork belly. Where i live pork belly is 50% more money than bacon.
Sunny golden grahams are my friggin jamm
That is Noah cappe.
Host of carnival eats.
The entitlement of that lady to interrupt while you’re filming and then go “don’t take my picture” smh
Was wondering what's their deal as well, are they just curious..?
Clearly they could see that there was someone filming and why interrupt the one guy who's filming of all people.
Karens in action
my response wlda had my channel shut down immediately
That's the Puget sound people for you.
I’m more amazed at the prices they charge than the food. 😮
Same 😂
we are NOT proud of being one of the most expensive states right now (I think Seattle is trying to beat New York City for "most expensive place to live")
@@codydotpng Yeah I had to leave and go back to CA, so that's saying something.
Welcome to Washington. Highest state minimum wage in the country.
it is truly so crazy, this stuff is so cheap to make too😭 half of it actually prolly tastes mid
Imagine having the absolute audacity to charge $10 for Stoffer’s Mac and cheese and frozen tater tots
Ong 😂
That $14 ice cream cone with 3 pieces of shrimp is a joke 🤣
I would vote for the fruity pebbles cheese dog thing it just sounds gross
Fair prices are Ludacris, 16 dollars for 2 wafels, and a piece of chicken? That is a dollar of produce.
@@liamcollinson5695sounds sweet and savory
@@0fficialr3d ludicrous? Not to correct your spelling or anything just making sure that’s what you meant

I'm so shocked at the prices. It's all so expensive. Must be difficult if you have a family to afford this.
Dont come to the PNW. Its dirty and over priced
That's seattle for you!
Welcome to Washington. Highest state minimum wage in the country.
most stae fairs or fairs in general its crazy
$17 for a chicken waffle sandwich is crazy.
It’s always been like that there. The notable burger there is an earthquake burger it was 14$ 20 years ago.
It's not if the economy is reciprocal... The problem is the people asking for the money don't go to the other people's business and get stuff
washington minimum wage is like $16 so for fair food that checks out. Washington is 2nd only to NY in cost to live
Welcome to Washington. Highest state minimum wage in the country.
As a Washingtonian, I refuse to call it anything other than the Puyallup fair. It's not Puyallup's fault it took Washington state dozens of decades to co opt their fair.
That being said, great video.
Thanks I was confused, I left 8 years ago and didn't know they changed the name.
That's how I know it, and I don't even live there. Visited it many years ago.
Yes same but it’s always been the state fair.. at least since 2013 or so
It's always been the Washington State fair. We just called it the Puyallup fair..I can guarantee it because it's listed as Washington State fair all the way back in 2000 in the world almanac. I'm sure it goes back further I just know for fact it's in that almanac back in 2000
Born and raised there. Our music teacher Mrs. Cosby (maybe Ms. Cosby it was a different time) taught us the song Do the Puyallup and the school district gave all of us kids a free ticket to entry.. A highlight of my childhood. Awesome video! Definitely check it out on a weekend at night.
This channel is just pure gold. One of the only ones that keeps quality every episode.
But man, some of this fair food looks almost as gross to me as the stuff Sonny eats with tribes 😂
Are we family?
@@Frog_king11 LMAOAOAO
State fair food is about embracing madness. It looks gross 364 days out of the year, but that one day, you can't resist. Madness.
@blatherama It’s true, you have to respect their creativity!
yeah same that corn dog and that hot dog looked absolutely repulsive Edit: i really hate hotdogs in general so im biased
The cost of things is outrageous.
16 dollars for that waffle sandwich was way to much 🤔🤔🤔🤔
Cost of living is like California.
Foods here in the states has gotten out of hand with the prices. A small serving of Mac, tater tots and some bacon bits dressing costs $10 dollars???? A donut thing with hamburger meat and cheese costs $14 dollars. Damn, our economy is so messed up!!! I bet you those two items would cost less then $3 dollars in most Asian countries.
That fair charges the vendors 30 percent of their gross sales right off the top so they have to adjust the prices accordingly. The prices have gotten way out of hand in recent years.
You think _that's_ bad? Medium "fries" and fizzy for two people cost $21NZD in New Zealand. That doesn't even include any burgers either.
@@viiperbiiteyou are on an island tho...it makes sense that product you can't make locally is more expansive.
@@mandolen3317we make most of it locally. especially the meat but even thats most expensive for us
As a chef, I love to see how much things cost and then compare it to the cost of what it takes to make the food. Long story short...... these ppl are robbing everyone🤷🏿♂️
If you’re going to tally up costs, you need to factor in rent, gas drive to work, bills like electricity costs
@@jambajoby32 rent is the main cost. These places charge a lot for that popular space to rent.
Great episode!
How the hell is he not recognized in public places by now? LOL Or maybe they just cut those parts out? He should be famous by now with all these awesome videos he does!
Sometimes he’ll pan over to a crowd watching him. And here it just seems like there at hours the fair wasn’t busy.
with a channel this big I assume hes running into people that recognize him every time he goes out. I imagine they just cut that out like with the show Impractical Jokers.
Cringe.
Crowd: Aren't you that guy from that show about the thing?
Sonny: No, I am not. I get that a lot though...
Crowd:
@@taotzu1339 cringe. You must be 12.
Getting into the fair and purchasing all that food had to cost deep into the six-figure range😂😂
Here in germany, in the south west to be specific, where the term "Fleischküchle" originates, there is no dough around the meat. A Fleischküchle is more like small panfried meatloaf composed of beef and pork, bread, onion and parsley. Its usually eaten in a breadroll or with gravy and mashed potatoes . In Bavaria its called "Fleischpflanzerl" and "Bulette" or "Frikadelle" in the rest of Germany. Greetings from Freiburg, Germany!
Ah, I think I call it Hacktätschli, but I add in an egg so it stays together easier in the pan.

This fair food series has been a highlight for me and I hope we get more episodes! So many unique treats and interesting characters! I wonder what Grandpa Kaleenka would think of the fruity pebbles Korean cheese dog!? 😅Sending love and support, Sonny🫶🎪
No matter how they try to rename the Fair, us locals will always know this as the Puyallup.
Puyallup fair forlife
Always will be known as The Puyallup Fair
My man! Thinking the same thing!
okay i was hella confused like why they keep calling it WA State Fair its the Freakin Puyallup Fair !! Do Do The Puyallup LOL
When you remember this jingle.... You can do it at a trot, You can do it at a gallop, You can do it real slow so your heart won't palpitate. Just don't be late. Do the Puyallup.
It Is Always the PUYALLUP!!

Sonny,
If that peanut butter seals your trachea shut, then you're either eating it wrong or are allergic to peanuts... 🤣
"Time to go on patrol. I'll help out a little bit, I'll stand in the back." 😂😂 I had to rewind and watch a few times
The prices are crazy😂
I can't believe Sonny covered up the bacon bite after all the balls we seen him put in his mouth
RUclips demonetization at work, lol
*Pork belly
Yeah, balls are okay, the shaft is different....lol.
I can watch hours and hours of your vlogs it's almost like therapy for me.❤
Except it's not a vlog
Thankyou so much for finally cutting back on the dizzying extreme close-up with every bite Sonny takes, it's much more enjoyable to watch 🤘
the prices are insane!! Really cool ideas though.
Can't believe you missed the Oklahoma state fair. that is a big one too, and being in the center of the country, you have a HUGE mix of weird food.
I like how they call Kaleenka the "Ukranian food restaurant" and when they show the photo of Brayton's grandmother, it is literally written "Russian cafe" in behind XD
Lol
well Ukraine was a part of Russia I think when the USSR disbanded in 1991 Ukraine became its own state
In fairness to them, Russia is not a particular selling point in the west right now, so I can understand the re-market to Ukraine 😅
@@tandaman-el5gg Technically they were both parts of the USSR but still kind of separate. Most Ukrainians speak Russian and the food is pretty similar, so it was probably a branding thing for the time. In the late 70s early 80s everyone knew who Russia was, not so much Ukraine.
@@Eargesplitten-Loudenboomer That's because there never was a country called Ukraine that region was part of Russian Empire and got name "Ukraine" only in 1917. Should never have become a separate state in the first place.
I love your channel. Also a big shout out to your production team. The sound effects are spot on 👌😂
My home is right around the corner from the Washington State Fair and I go every September. The Scones are wonderful!
Sonny. Keep up the videos man..great content. Watching from Trinidad and Tobago ❤
I live near Seattle, and I LOVE Kaleenka! I'm so glad you gave them a shout out on your show! Their food is consistently good from year to year, and the people are really friendly.
This video just showed everyone Washington is pathetic and overpriced nothing here was made from scratch
Are the Piroshkis the same price in the store. $14 seems nuts.✌️
This looks disgusting ,and is a total rip off at 14$. The smash burger option at the end is for sure better and cheaper .
Wa gang 👏👏
I could have sworn they used to call themselves Russian until Russia invaded Ukraine...
Very delicious, heart stopping food here.
More stuff to try, though I've never seen the fascination with a cheese pull. Like you pull cheddar, what's so interesting about that?
No scones!? That's a must at the Washington state fair.
Did that last place really name itself after the Ethiopian kid from South Park? I’m dead 😂
5:39 2 bucks worth of stuff you can buy in any frozen food aisle for ten times the amount is pretty shameful. stouffers and probababy generic brand tater tots not even orida. This channel however is as good as it gets for free entertainment every single episode is fun to watch that level of consistency is crazy
I mean if your customers are gullible and there for entertainment and food, you might as well jack up the price. At that point it’s the customers who are dumb for buying overpriced food like that lol.
you can apply that "gullible" sentiment all you want but that doesnt change the fact that its gross especially a family oriented setting. you would expect this crap from an airport or sporting event not your next door neighbors.
@@SadalDay inflation is real and your emotions and morals won't change the fact that people need to make as much money as they legally can.
@@allergictohumansnotanimals5671 In full honesty. I just see people getting tired with being overcharged and just not buying non-essentials.
It's probably going to collapse portions of that market. But it's the truth, that the prices seen are far outside the level of inflation. Currently it's estimated at 3.2%, in no way is that reflected in pricing.
Watching your videos from all over the world and then seeing a video of you in my home town is amazing. The fair is everything to our state and we were so happy to have you.

Im an English man but this is one of the reasons why I love America ❤
That Nashville Hot Chicken Waffle is similar to a meal at KFC in South Africa, its called KFC's Uncle Waffle Burger, basically chicken with cheese, mayo, syrup between two waffles and it tastes disgusting, lol

I am from Puyallup, and still live in the area. I think everyone should go to the fair and experience the food there Just one day forget the diet. The smells alone are worth the admission price. Thanks for visiting my hometown. I'm hungry now.

Sonny, my husband and I love you. We look forward to your episodes every week.
As we live in Washington though, and went to the fair (like we do every year)....

Because it is from the food network and cooking channel. It is called carnival eats
Sorry, but I feel the need to point out that pirozhki is not a cheeseburger. Cheese is definately an american addition, not a bad one, but still not something people here in Ukraine think when they imagine a pirozhok (singular form of pirozhki). Pirozhki are basically oil-fried pies with various fillings, usually meat, cabbage, mashed potatoes, cottege cheese, apples, cheries and various berries.
Americans dont know what fruits are so they needed to adapt and chuck meat and chesse
@@deadziogo back to your poor country 😂
Then essentially, its just a Russian turnover. Not cheese burger. I wouldve never even thought about calling it that lol.
This is fair food. Almost all the stalls are taking something standard and making them more extreme/outrageous/unique/calorie-filled. I thought that was apparent from the premise of this video.

My local place does a nashville hot chicken donut. Burger and it's one of their most popular items. They use chicken thigh and crumb it themselves, use a hot nashville saice, served in a glazed donut with slaw, pickle and a dill yoghurt sauce to help cool it. Definately better than that nashville waffle with the frozen tenders
