For me this was one of the best films I've ever seen.
    Cried my damn eyes out.
    Beautifully done on all levels.
    So, so damn good.
It really makes you think about your own life, relationships and the purpose of it all.
This film moved me to floods of tears, left me bawling out loud. Can't praise it enough, congratulations to all involved.

kevdawg55 I agree. I thought the film did a good job at making us question what we would do and I even felt some of the same emotions.
It's interesting to think that in the vastness of the universe a civilization could be dealing with something like this as we speak. Nothing's certain.

When I was a teenager, my older brother had me read a story by Larry Niven called “Inconstant Moon” about the world ending at sunrise because the sun went supernova. I read it, was totally fixated by the story and thought about for a,long time. One question I asked myself was what would I do in a situation like this. After forty years, I know now. I would,d say goodbye to my siblings, go and the biggest thickest steak dinner with all the trimmings and then go back to my place and spend the rest of the time praying.

Yeah, its another "the world is ending" film but this looks good. Especially for a Aussie movie. We can make some crappy movies. Lol.

UNDERRATED FILM would be an understatement here. So pitifully sad this didn't get a bigger market outside of Australia. Just goes to show that being a great acting cast with a good story isn't anything without the advertising and personal whims of the film executive industry. Awesome creatives are only great when they FINALLY learn how to manipulate and traverse the financial and advertising snake pits of the film industry. Most creatives are too artistically deep minded to comprehend the practical, financial laws and business senses of movie industry upper management.

This was a bloody good fucking movie mate. Loved the mood, the theme, the setting, the drama, that thrill and that impending doom feel, as if you are apart of the movie (immerses the viewers). Definitely recommend to everyone. haha some of the areas shot in this film were places I live nearby. So weird to see a high quality film such as this shot in my home city.

      Depends.
Perth is a City that contains multiple Suburbs.
Then there's Perth CBD, Right smack in the middle, on the foreshore of Swan River.

what a movie! in true australian fashion this thing kept you on the edge of your seat with your stomach turning. they could have made it "hollywood", instead they made it real. fuckin class.

I've watched this movie so many times! Gets me EVERY SINGLE TIME. So many of the characters draw you into their heartache and despair. The Hollywood trope that everything works out in the end is uncharacteristically obliterated.
