The film was like travel capsule. I use to visit Lodz at that time. The way how they show the places which I have been at that time! This kind of of Poland which a lot of people want to forget. So glad that Poland does not look like that anymore... The story worth to watch especially that is base on facts from the life of real people.
Oh my God, it looks incredible. What a beautiful trailer, heartfelt and some heartbreaking exploration of love and loss. I can't wait to see it. When does it come out?
I usually like/appreciate Stephen Fry, Dunham- much less so. I'll be 😢 sticking with Lily Brett's original novel . It has humour, pathos and true humanity.
I hate it that British/American movies always slap on this ridiculous, stereotype russian accent on all Eastern European people. The way Stephen Fry speaks would be not how an originally Polish person would speak. Nor do most of the other supposedly Polish characters sound like actually Polish people would speak!!
This will give away how big of a Stephen Fry fan I am, but it actually sounds like the accent he used when he imitated his Eastern European grandfather, who if I remember correctly was austro- hungarian or something, maybe from Slovakia, I don't remember exactly. He might have lived in poland as well? Idk, I remember Stephen talking about him in his episode of Who do you think you are?
@deviarnaz2625 shhhh - you should only feel sorry for the Jews no-one else - it's what Hollywood wants. There is of course no way a film about the Gaza strip would ever be made in years to come - "they" wouldn't allow it !

A wonderful little indie film. Takes a while to get to the point but Stephen Fry and Lena Dunham do great work in it ❤
This looks absolutely amazing

@@paranyphoto DEFINITLTY not. But l didn't attack them, just offered a solution. Go and be a white knight somewhere else. 🤺
I shouldn't be crying over a trailer during working hour, should I?
Thanks for emailing Roadshow trailers. I appreciate meaningful films so subscribing. 😊Steven Fry & Lena Dunham are both entertaining talents
Beautiful train station in Olkusz 😍

Everything is illuminated with Elija Wood .
I wonder how Stephen manages to speak a polish line so perfectly and then switch to a russian accent when speaking english 😂😂😂
@askarufus7939 Oh i dunno - I guess he's a paid actor ?

The movie is good and educational. For better understanding father's worriness I've read about Kielce pogrom.
❤😢
