Absolutely beautiful. The golden hour lighting on the QR 787 was fabulous. Its been a real long time since I've been to HKT, over 10 years now. The new terminal wasn't completely open then. The spotting pics I took from Nai Yang Beach were some of the best I had taken up to that time, up until I traveled to Changi Beach Park in Singapore last spring.

Great Video!!! From one to the other side to film is always a long way... Was in 2019 on the north side and have taken beautiful shots from the aircrafts, but was biten many times by moskitos and ants. Not recommend with short trousers and you have to take a lot of water to drink, sunglasses, baseball cap and suncream...

looking good i love these videos for real i got my own privet owned cargo cart and i use to help restock sky planes like this in the 1980s and evevn now i love working with different sky plane companys and working with cargo with different sky plane companys my uncle philip use to work in anrochage alsaka air port and i got a summer job there in the 1980s restocking sky planes with cans of soda and snacks and i learned alot from the old one from different sky plane companys i have to wait my turn to wrok with my cargo cart agin i just got back from the grocery store with my cargo cart with food in it i just have to wait my turn love you all my nick name is face paint love you all and happy christmas to every one

Used to live in Phuket for 14y. Best place in Phuket is the airport as it means you are getting out. Yeah, don't miss it one bit.

Also jokes aside, the correct way to pronounce Phuket is “poo-ket”. The reason the phonetic ‘h’ is there is because when pronouncing the ‘P’, it’s a soft consonant so you blow a little bit of air out, almost like you’re blowing out a candle but very softly. Seems like a very random analogy but my Thai language teacher told me that and it helped me grasp it almost instantly 🤷

The first landing? I've never seen the engines flaps deploy like that. Engines? Rolls Royce? GE? Pratt and Whitney? I'm curious.!
Those engines are made by Safran and GE, a joint venture company headquartered in France and they are not flaps, but called , cascade reversers. That jet has been flying for Swiss/Edelweiss for all of its life, almost 30 years. Cheers!
It’s a more powerful CFM56 type, the other variants are some of the most common engines found on the A320 ceo and 737
