Nice backyard. I wonder why the gun says "no less than 120 grain"? Less is going to jam the cylinder? Or primer won't strike? Does that include both 38 and 357?
Hi, I appreciate your opinion but what is the real difference between the SW MP 340 & 340PD obviously I read the SW site, I am asking about the rounds you can shoot, 340PD nothing less then 120 grain but the MP 340 doesn't say that so does that mean it can shoot any grain weight . Thank you for any opinion you can give on this topic.
Yes No less than 120 GR for the 340PD that I did the review on. The main difference with the S&W 340PD Airlite is the titanium cylinder so you can shoot 357 magnum.
@@Mr.Madness1 Appreciate your reply, so I have to assume The SW MP 340 which is 2 ounces heavier can shoot any grain weight of .357 & .38 caliber. Guess I'll be purchasing the MP 340, instead of the 340PD , Again appreciate your opinion and videos , All the best and stay safe.
@@Mr.Madness1 I always wear eye protection. I had an example of why shooting some higher pressure 357 through a K-frame that is a smart move to wear eye glasses.You can get blow by coming from the forcing cone or worst, lead shavings in your eyes and thumb. I would stay strictly to manufacturers recommended ammo guidelines on the 340 in the owners manual too.

@thadeusjohnson9614 Yes! Definitely one of my favorite 357 Snub nose!
I wouldn't run my thumbs that close to that forcing cone

@mchoch4576 Thank you appreciate it!
Big mistake not wearing eye protection and having a thumbs forward grip especially shooting 357.
Probably would not be a bad idea.

38 extra p? You must be new to guns? Judging from your grip I’d say so.
Yes 38+p you must be new to guns😉 Yes my thumbs were little close to the cylinder for comfort got caught up in semi auto stance.
You violated one of the "always do this" rules!!!. Eye protection. Thumbs down.
