Shotguns are what make CoD games for me honestly, I don't have MW3 but I watch countless videos from Xcal and you involving the shotguns in MW3. Also, seeing more Black Ops games would be pretty sweet.
I noticed a buff in the USAS, that thing owns like the KSG does now. The AA-12 and SPAS-12 didn't get buffed at all. They were said to have 9 pellets, but still only have 8. The model did get some more pellets and now is awesome. However, I find it strange how it cant kill someone half a meter in front of you, but 4 meters away. The striker did get a nerf, but like you said, spamability keeps it on top of all of the other shotguns.
@gibsonatorful A huge roll to be honest. Since there's no Blackbird or any trusting in the minimap, I've become a soundwhorer. My headset is Tritton AX Pro if you're wondering.
You make some valid points, it's nice to hear your opinion on the shotguns, and I agree with you on the Strike, it's still a great gun to use. Great video!

@OpTicXcinema That was a glitch but they patched it. The buff was they added more pellets to each shutgun without the glitch but decreased the amount on the Striker.
I really liked the whole striker "nerf" thing and completely agree with you: You tell them that the gun is worse now, and they immediately stop using it, and that was the intention of the patch.
I've noticed that either Blash Shield has been buffed or the Dead Man's Hand has been nerfed. You can't die to DMH anymore while having Blast Shield if you haven't taken any damage.
ManinBlack the reason people mostly used the striker is because it was the only shotgun you could pretty much use to suceed with and the reason people dont use it anymore is not because of what they been told about it but because now they can test out the other shotguns which are now also useable unlike before the patch

@embolie95 Personal preference, for me, hip firing range is better, but then again it's easier to be accurate while ADS'ing. I like ADS with pump action shotguns.
hey MIB, any reason you use steady aim as the the default third perk and sitrep pro as the 1st specialist perk and not the other way round like i think i've seen you do before? sitrep pro all powerful
@BlackOppTamama Probably mine too, it's not even that good, but I still had the 2nd most kills and the best K/D out of all my guns in that game. I felt really comfortable using that gun.

The moddela1887 never got buffed or patched, its the second best shotgun now since the extended mag glitch is gone, it does most damage and has longest range

Like you said it is still easily the best shotgun imho, the strikers annoyance was never its range or dmg it was that you have 20 shots to spam and that you can fire 3 shots for every 1 shot from a pump or lever action shotty.
lright, im not so sure about all this, e-mag is patched right? no gun gets the benefit of e-mag, and the dmg is higher for some, wouldnt the e-mag nerf undo whatever buff they gave them?
@TheManlnBlack what do u use on it as perks and proficiency because i just started using it and my K/D dropped from 1.68 to 1.61!! i want it to get it golden it's lvl 19 if i get it to 31 my K/D will go negative. it the only shotgun i like using

Hey MiB, ever use the Striker with a silencer? That would probably be pretty similar to the BO Spas suppressed, maybe not as much range. I know everyone dominated with the BO Spas since it was so powerful suppressed and retards wouldn't turn around when you just cleared out 5 dudes in their spawn. Might be good for Ground War and Assault streaks.
i don't know why people are saying striker is overpowered? If you want to know what overpowered is, try out type95 with FmG9's akimbo (secondary) while using Assassin pro Head Glitching.
@TheManlnBlack just check out the mini map..watch the train of arrows from your team mates..all running in a line..and the Striker still pushes shit in.
my biggest thing about the striker is that with the lag comp, a lot of times i will die right as i see a guy and then i'll watch the killcam and it'll show the guy spraying like 2 or 3 shots into me and i'm just like 'wtf, that didn't happen on my screen"...it's not as bad as it used to be when the striker was more popular but it's like i have no time to react because i'll only hear/see one striker thud and then i'm dead

@Chalkhous They also made the pellets do more damage. The buff is so noticeable that it just can't be only on my head.

@siwere No it's not. FMG9's and the Type 95 are the only OP guns in the game.

@psyenergy1 But if you miss with the model, you're screwed. The striker is spamable, so it's better follow up shots and groups of enemies.

I don't know if the update has even reached PS3 yet but I've seen a dramatic increase in Striker players the last couple of days.

Damage, cause specialist bonus does give range proficiency. Specialist bonus doesn't give damage proficiency... And range + damage is super powerful.

I think the Striker was only overpowered when with Specialist, because shotguns in real life can shoot over 100 yards
