I listened to your brief comment on the recent loss of a friend you've experienced and wondered about the feelings beneath them. I'd like to share with you some thoughts about grief... I've heard it spoken of as circle - the experience of grief - inside it there are feelings, thoughts, memories, questions, a hole where the person was... The circle remains... and the stays same size... the overall feel of it changes, (if you gave it a colour perhaps the colours change over time), and another circle grows and expands around it as life unfolds... The life circle gets bigger - with grace and love it gets richer, deeper. I wish I could draw it here...
I'm not sure it's helpful to think about moving on. It seems to me that, as time goes on and our lives progress there's a becoming - the experience of grief becomes part of you and the person becomes part of you in a new way. With much love 🤍🙏🏻🫂🕊️
Happy early birthday! My birthday was December 3rd so I actually decided to hop over to Seoul for 1 night and 2 days (I live in Japan). That trip also cost me around $1000 total with all the stuff I did and bought. But I feel like a birthday (especially if it's a multiple of 10) is a great time to splurge a bit on yourself!

Just caught up on 3 of your travel videos. As always they were a treat for an arm chair traveler. I never got to travel through Asia much, just a stop in Busan from a cruise ship. Nice was nice, but really enjoyed the stay at the 4Seasons. What luxury that I can only experience through your eyes. Thank you so much.
