@@LandbergTileTV You are a fucking genius man. I've been in the construction industry for 23 years and that double bucket hack with the bottom cut out in the top bucket blew my mind. I'm constantly splashing drywall mud all over my pants. Thanks for the review. I've been mixing concrete and drywall mud with the DCD996 for the last few years but it only works on gear 2. Gear 3 stalls out. I'm buying this drill.
The e clutch on the Dewalt stud/joist drill is way too sensitive & shuts down the tool too often - did you notice this on this flexvolt mixer drill? Big power tools need big torque, but e clutches seem to interfere - this mixer drill doesn't seem to be as sensitive - you're moving it all over - no problems shutting down? The e clutch is basically for preventing lock ups/stalls right? Do you think this is the most powerful cordless drill you've used? Thanks
I know I'm late but can you use this for a regular drill or will it try to kill me. I ask this because I've been drilling 9/16 holes through 8 inches of wood and at about the 2000th hole i noticed ive lost first gear. I tried corded but its slower and harder at the same time. Need something more powerful than the 996. I saw this one chewing through the wood but it seemed like it was lacking power compared to geared down drills.
the Dewalt DCD240 is far more Powerful I have both and now this one you have is now stored in my container. it will mix the buckets you use for rubble in half the time it takes the other to mix a 5gal. You need to get one and see the difference i was amazed a the difference
I just looked that part number up, holt shit! That's a big boy lol I'm sure it's more powerful! Is it a European-only model? I only see it advertised under their 54v system for the Euro market.
Love those Dewalt tools! Before this drill weren't you using the Flexvolt Advantage hammer drill for your mixing? The reason I ask is that I just bought one of the new flexvolt hammer/driver drills and was wanting to know if it will work in mixing thinset (without burning up) rather than having to go buy another drill. As a fellow tile setter I really appreciate all your videos and your sharing your skills & insight. Thanx!
Heck yeah, the Advantage will mix with no problems. We've been using the old 3 speed Dewalt hammer DCD996 for almost 3 years now. Mixed up thousands of buckets of thinset with no problems.
That drill looks good. I don’t plan on going into the flexvolt line because I have a ton of XR and Power Detect and don’t want to deal with a “different” battery platform.

"The Berg" has done it again!
Love the way you've made the bucket extension. Genius!
Had my eye on that mixer for the longest time thanks for the review
No problem 👍

I’ve had the mixer for a few months now. Best I’ve had! Reminds me of my old Milwaukee hole hog.
Love it, I've got the ridgid corded paddle mixer, need an excuse to pick up this cordless dewalt!!!
Great mixing drill, replaced my corded when it gave out last year. Still running and keeps up with our demands :)
Just got mine today after seeing this review. Can’t wait to try it tomorrow
Someone who owe this drill needs to try it out with a 6" or 8" ICE AUGER! I bet you this thing would get the job done in no time 👍
0:38 I felt that Big Birtha of a Mixing drill 🤣🤣🤣
Sweet drill, great trick using the bottomless bucket to minimize splatter BTW; liking the AVE shirt as well,
😎
you can put a d handle ( the kind a standard mixer has) on the back of this tool if you remove the tool connect tag
D handle is what I'm used too 🤷🏻♂️

1:39 I dig the blade you’re using to open it, what was that?

Can't find that here in the state. I've come across a couple at about $800us.
@@LandbergTileTV You can Import it From Amazon Uk :)
Cordless powerful than corded I hear for the first time. 60V is a beast
In your opinion. Is the drill worth the money to upgrade from corded mixer
absolutely yes, definitely worth it.

Thanks so much for taking the time to reply. Much appreciated!
Why no 3 speed transmission?
I was try to use my hammer drill to mix up thin set
It works with your hammer drill? Mixing tinset
@@numeku with a 60 v battery
Great demonstration L! I have the corded version and may look at this drill when it dies. BTW, what do you do with your mixed products?😂
To bad it doesn't have the clutches...was about to go replace my hammer drill

Dewalt from my understanding is making that their only line?
No way dewalt is keeping 20 and 60 volt
You can use flexvolt batteries on xr tools and charge them all on the same charger. You just can use xr batteries on flexvolt tools
@@jonathangarzon2798 it would be pretty dumb to ditch their highest selling line..
@@kennyackerman5528 there has been reports of flexvolt batteries ruining some 20V tools. Also I agree with you 20V batteries can’t run flexvolt tools.
Cool video , impressive drill 👏
What was the purpose of your bucket with the bottom taken out
Fill 5 gallons without spilling out
As always brother very good video. I do like this unit. Thanks again as always very informative. “FLIP “
Where you keep your tools
Can I use the regular 20v battery in that unit?
yes
Kick ass. Tajima review and stabila rbeam review next
next tuesday! 😎
What bench is that? Seems great 😊👍
In home depot
I did't know John cena likes power tools 😮
Very nice Bro 👏👏👏👏
Thank you so much 😀
Ok, idiot question here, but what is the "quick connect"?
I’m just guessing but I think he meant tool connect, the Bluetooth thing. I don’t have any tools with it though so I’m not sure.
loking good brother
I’m still using my 12 year old rigid. Sucker will not die. When it does die I will get the cordless makita, it has a dust shield to protect the motor.
Super! 👍💪💪
