Idk why people hate her. Of course her voice isnt as strong as floor or tarja but SHE IS INCREDIBLE and has her own style just like the other two.

Anette is awesome. She doesn't do the Tarja tunes well, due to the difference in vocal styles, but she's great at the songs written for her.
It's kinda like Deep Purple with David Coverdale replacing Ian Gillan. Does anyone really expect Cov to do "Child in Time"?

I agree. Each of these 3 ladies are phenomenal, amazing vocalist each with their own skill sets and styles. Each of them have amazing songs which were written specifically for them. Let's appreciate the legacy and contribution each of them have made for this amazing band. I do have a favorite of the 3 but I enjoy listening to all of them.

Annette is just a hell of a frontwoman with an incredible voice, hitting some mighty notes without live... A legend in her own right
Well there's just something about the way she sings this song. She can hit the "one" without sliding, bang on - riveted in place. That adds a lot to the chorus. Powerful piece !! \m/

This is a great performance! The issue is her vocals aren't mixed right. The strength of Annette's voice is her purity of tone and focused sound. I think she'd sound a lot better if the vocals were mixed louder, there was a bit of reverb, and her midtones were boosted (since the higher tones are what cut through and can be heard, which makes it sound thin).

I have to point, this is not the audio from Lowlands 2008, check any other source and you will see. I'm sad because the edition made this sound worse. This audio probably is from Rock Werchter 2008.
To grow up means to recognize that this lady always was awesome

I first heard Floor’s version and loved it. I read comments that Annette and Tarja did it better. So I listened to all three. I would rank them in this order.

Seeing Annette Olson is similar to what Blaze Bailey did in Iron Maiden. All the loves and hate of the fans filled their days with the band.
She's better than Blaze, her albums with Nightwish were very popular, unlike Blaze's albums with Maiden.

I like her solo music. I hated her when she was with nightwish. She was more of a radio friendly pop singer. She was boring to watch live. Tarjia would put you in a trance watching her & just sucked you in & mesmerized you. Floor was this power house that came in & demanded your attention & was a force to be reckoned with.

Tellement mauvaise qu'elle rate même ces propres chansons 😂 elle pouvait avoir l'excuse de dire que les autres titres avaient étés écrits pour la voix de Tarja mais là elle n'a aucune excuse si ce n'est celle d'être mauvaise.
Le plus cruel est le montage de Nemo en concert avec Tarja (et son band), Anette et Floor. Anette pousse tellement sa voix dans la coda qu'on se croirait à un télécrochet avec une chanteuse qui aurait vu plus grand que sa voix.

She is so off-key through this whole song. She sounds better in the recording but she is the absolute worst fit for Nightwish and the weakest out of the 3 lead singers Nightwish has had.
