Its not just you , a lot of others also dont know. It is written on passport as United kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland. Meaning GB includes England , wales and Scotland . It is very Tricky.

my brothers are currently having to renew their visa, we’ve lived here for 15 years and still have another 15 until we’ll be able to apply for citizenship. they have to pay over 2k to get a visa that lasts 5 years and due to the current pandemic have not got the money saved. soo wish us luck

That sounds very strange - 15 years?!!! Usually it’s been about 5 years - when i move to England with my family in 2007, we had to stay for 5 years on indefinite leave before we could apply - unless the laws have changed?
I’m so sorry to hear about what you’re going through but definitely see if you can get a lawyer involved because your situation sounds like it needs legal advice.

I recall coming to the UK from Congo and my little was crying in school he was being picked on and I couldn't defeat him .
