Just love the Action 2 form factor. The camera has clear limitations but the size to capabilities ratio is beyond any other cam at the moment, still in 2023. The POV use case is a winner.
I’m about to buy the action 2. Superior form factor imo
Just purchased Action 3, it was 40% cheaper than Action 4 and according to what I watched in reviews the difference is not worth paying almost twice
I just bought the action2 with power module with accessories for £150, which is fantastic value for money IMO

Thank you! Regarding the sound, wind noise in particular, do you think the action 4 can be improved by adding some foam at the mics holles? Because from what I've seen on other videos, with bikes and speed, the action 4 captures horrible wind noise compared to action 3. Fact mentioned repeatedly in the comments of those videos as well.
I'll be using it in high speed applications and this is the single puzzle I have regarding which one to choose.

Hi @RobHK thanks for great comparison it's really helpful. I am planning to buy one confused between DJI action 2 and Action3 . And confusion is primarily because of heating issue with DJI action 2 which I have heard and read about over past few months. My usage is mostly filming small clips of a daily routine both outdoors & indoors and occasionally a product review video indoor. So what do you suggest going for action 2 or 3. And does heating issue really a major concern with action 2 considering the price?
I need a camera for shooting podcasts indoor so for that will action 4 prove to be a better choice than 3?? Suggest some action camera for this usage

Surprisingly, I like my Go 3 more than my GoPro 11. I didn't like my other insta360 Cameras and picked up the Go 3 against my better judgement. I'm very surprised. It's easy and fun to use. Image quality is way better than I expected.
Great comparison... I bought Action 2 just for the same reason as its compact and very easy to wear with headband for driving POV videos which I love to record
Is the accessories the same with the action 4 adventure combo as the Action 3 accessories. I’m upgrading from 3 to 4 but asking is it worth getting the adventure combo as I already have the adventure combo with the action 3?

if not using 4k, is the overheating still exists on action 2 ??
Thanks for doing this. I have the 360 x3 so I want a helmet cam that will look where I look so I'm not sure I need too many features. That said I usually want to get the best/most modern within my price range. Actually I have been leaning toward the Action 2, but then I see the low light results of the 4... 😵💫 Btw I guessed the proper order of the clips.

Isn't the Mini 4 Pro, Air 3, Avata 2 and Action4 picture same, if they use the same 1/1.3 sensor?
I went from a GoPro 8 to an Action 4… So in love with the action 4 , I would never upgrade again … I just want another one or two…
My current hero 8 black randomly decided not to power on or charge, so I'm looking at the action 4. In terms of stabilisation and image quality field of view etc . Is the upgrade a bug enough difference?
@@michaelderrick8709 major difference in film quality , I was still using the GoPro 8 as second cam.. Then when it came to editing I could see the difference heaps… So I’m selling it getting another Action 4 … To me Action 4 is so good , I would never upgrade again for what I need it for , I’m going to buy a few more when it’s cheaper ….. when Action 5 comes out ..

Great video!🙂 I'm planning on buying a actioncamera next year and looking on tve new Action 4, if I doesn't have any actioncamera right now, is it the Action 4 I should look at? I'm planning on using it while snorkeling so I'm thinking that the better low light should be a really good thing? I live in sweden so I don't have the clear nice water with good light like in the bahamas 🙂
For snorkeling you would prefer the sun to be out anyways so it doesn’t really matter that much. Most of the time ive been using the A2 and 3 and even the gopro 10 for snorkeling.

So ball joint that comes with Action 2 can be used with OA3/4?
This camera is great with limitations of tech few years back... if they make a updated version would be great... 32g internal to 64g like inta360 go2 and with 3nm chips should give it longer battery life and less overheat...
I’d like to see a comparison between the Action 2 and Go 3. Not just image quality but also usability.

I bought action 2 battery module one(new) for 15990 rupees which is $192❤ I really like this action camera.
