  • The bell MX 9 adventure helmet is a fantastic budget alternative to some of the other, more expensive, helmet options on the market. In this bell MX 9 adventure helmet review, we look at the Bell MX-9 safety features, comfort and overall performance. We have both uses the Bell MX 9 on our CRF 250 Rally and L for over a year now, so we have a pretty good handle on how they perform. Perhaps you're thinking of using this as a dual sport, adventure or green lane helmet, or simply wanting the look for on the road. Whatever the case, im our opinion, you wont go far wrong with the Bell.

I own an MC9 Adv. 1 of the few that can accommodate XXXL head. Thank you Bell for that.

Just get mine 2 days ago. I confirm that whatever the configuration is, it is noisy on the road. Surprisingly, it feels better with goggles ! But I tried it on road with a Transalp and usually I am using an Arai Chaser X. I bought it for off road, then I think it will be a good choice. Temperature begins to be hot here, but it is very well ventilated, even with the visor, and to get to the good spots for off road, this visor is a big advantage in case of rain ! Big first test next week with my 600 XTZ : 1200 km on road and 2 days off road in south of France. Let's see if it is a good investment ! 😎 Good video ! 👍

Got the red and black one. Must be good because have had it for two years and still happy with it. I am 6’ and ride a CRF250 Rally, no add on the screen, can’t say I suffer from wind (probably something to do with my healthy diet). The only down side is the cost of a tinted visor

Good honest review chaps. I currently have a Pioneer LS2 but I've been thinking about one of these for a while. Mine now needs replacing and I think you've convinced me to try one out. Cheers.

What goggles are you using with the mx-9 on the left? I've just ordered the same helmet and like the idea of getting the same Goggles too

Hi DC, they're a relatively cheap (sub £100) pair of Beaudens intercoms. No longer available in this model, but there are many like them on Amazon

Very helpful vid, thanks! Can you confirm whether the helmet is an oval (not round) shape? I tend to get a red forehead from a round helmet. Cheers

@@lightweightadv Thanks! I appreciate it. Unfortunately, I live very far from the nearest town... but will try out it if I can.
