This has been my holy grail cleanser for years! It doesn't irritate my eyes, feels luxurious and it's quite affordable, does strip my skin. Glad to see you're enjoying it!
Good morning, Sarah! I LOVE this cleanser, use it as a second cleanse in the p.m. and also in the morning. It feels so very luxe to me. The texture is amazing, the gel is nice and bouncy and turns into the most lush, creamy lather on the skin. Rinses easily, leaves no residue. Probably my most favorite cleanser ever.
This is so wonderful and so nice to hear that there are a lot of people that love this cleanser as well! A great morning cleanser as well as evening cleanser- does a pretty good job removing most sunscreen and makeup too!
Yay so happy to see a spotlight on the heimish cleanser!! It's been my HG cleanser for a while. It truly is as great as you say! And the texture is so nice, it feels luxurious even though it's actually affordable!
This is actually my favourite cleanser of all time, been using it for years and never tried one that was as cheap or good as this one. It’s great for dry/dehydrated/sensitive skin like mine
This is the cleanser I’m using now, I’m almost finished it and loved it. I have dry sensitive skin and it’s one of the few gel/foam cleansers that didn’t dry me out. I use it pm rather than AM though.
It sounds like an interesting product. That essence caught my eyes because I could notice how your skin was glowing and supple right away after you applied it. Right now I’m using PC’s calm cleaner. It has a creamy gel-like texture and it foams pretty well. It’s very gentle so if I’m wearing makeup or sunscreen I will use it as a second cleanser. I have to say that I noticed fewer breakouts, dryness, and tightness since I started using it.
Hi Sarah it takes me forever to get through cleansers. I haven't tried this one, but truthfully that's because I have quite a few cleansers already. In the colder months i switch from gel cleansers to cream/milk cleansers for my very dry, rosacea and eczema prone skin. I find gel cleansers work better for me in the warmer months, but I need more moisture in the colder months tbh. it's a great value item though and I have contemplated buying it a few times to use as a shower gel for my eczema prone body skin. Just a thought, as that's how I normally use up gel cleansers in the colder months lol. Best wishes.
Sarah do u recommend washing the face in the morning if using Vitamin C serum or is it better to use it straight away on dry skin or simply splashing some water only and pat dry!? I'm lost tbh and don't know what to do to get the most out of my Vitamin C serum!🥺😭
I think it depends- a lot of people have different ways to use their vitamin c products and there really isn't a "wrong" way- just finding what works best for you. I think it will be best to apply the vitamin c serum to clean dry skin for maximum absorption. I typically rinse my face with water in the fall and winter and during the spring and summer I typically use a gentle cleanser first.
Thanks for another great review. I have tried this one too and found it did irritate my eyes a little. Not huge but enough to bother them. The only cleanser I have found so far that I love that doesn’t irritate my eyes is the Haruharu black rice moisture 5.5 soft cleansing gel. Would love you thoughts on that one.
😂 u always make me laugh love that. I have not tried this yet I have heard other people say good things about it though. That bottle looks really big is that the 12$ bottle if it is that is a great deal.
Is there a super thick cream you could recommend for extra dry skin but doesn’t cause acne? I feel like nothing is thick enough. I use the drunk elephant lala retro cream twice a day and my skin still gets dry . I don’t know what to do for my skin at this point
I feel you on this!! My skin gets dehydrated but all the thick creams cause breakouts. Right now I'm testing out bioderma sensibio rich cream, and so far it's been good. I usually layer moisturizers at night, and I tried just the bioderma sensibio rich cream by itself and it held up all night. My skin wasn't glowy in the morning how I like, but I also didn't feel dry. It might be worth a try for you! I also love the Clinique moisture surge night mask on top of PM moisturizer to get a really good nighttime moisturization. And that one hasn't given me any acne yet at all even though I used it almost every night for a few months! It also gives me the most glowy skin the next morning... Highly recommended! I also love that Clinique moisture surge gel moisturizer (100h one) but it isn't enough for me overnight. And the Clinique 72h rich moisture surge cream breaks me out. I think it might be the petrolatum in it, which is super sad bc it feels So Good on!
Next on my list is la Roche posay ultra toleriane night moisturizer. I have high hopes for that one too! And also I use a hydrating Korean toner and essence after washing, and niod modulating glucosides before moisturizing. That combo seems to really help my moisturizer go further
Oh, and if you're acne prone I recommend to also stay away from la Roche posay cicaplast Baume b5 cream. It's all over the internet how amazing it is, and it does feel lovely, however it always gave me whiteheads wherever I used it. So I recommend staying away from that one for my fellow acne prone people even though the internet makes it seem like it's the best thing since sliced bread
Oh and if your skin is feeling that dry, I would definitely take a look at your cleansing since that can really dry you out. This heimish cleanser is great, and I use it as a second cleanse at night after an oil cleanser or bioderma sensibio micellar water to get off makeup and sunscreen. If your skin is super dry you may also want to skip cleansing in the morning and just rinse your face with lukewarm water
@@oceanbird. thank you for taking the time to answer! I just ordered the cicaplast 😅 I’m gonna try it out on top of moisturizer and see if it works, but it’ll probably break me out as well as for some reason anything containing dimethicone always seems to break me out for whatever reason. I also ordered the Paula’s choice azeliac acid to hopefully help my acne (I was told before I have rosacea) but seems like any new product I use my skin freaks out and breaks out. But no matter what I’m doing now my chin is constantly broke out, it will sorta clear up then break out so not sure if it’s hormonal ugh.
Love your content, Sarah. I'm looking for a gentle cleanser for my skin in winter and recently watched your video about isntree green tea cleanser, how is that compare to this Hemish one? Which one is more gentle? Thanks so much!
I did a video on gentle cleansers here: ruclips.net/video/OXVWyKf2uzo/видео.html I'm also working on a video about cleansers that are gentle yet still do a good job as a one step cleanser. I love both cleansers from isntree and heimish- you can't go wrong with either. I would say the Isntree one is a bit more gentle.

I’ve had my eye on this cleanser for a while. I think I’m gonna pick it up now! Waiting for the Black Friday sales to start.
Thank you!! Such a great brand!! 💖💖 Love your reviews and your recommendations, you have never let me down!!💖💖
Is it good for oily & acne prone skin?
Is this good for oily acne prone skin?
I do love this one. Enjoy the texture and price!
This is so many peoples HG! One of these days. I’m finally trying Inkey Lists waaaay after the wave lol. Thanks Sarah 💕☺️
Nothing wrong with waiting until products are vetted by others, probably saves money in the long run!
Fav second cleanser out of the many I’ve tried
Which one is great for upcoming winter season??this hemish one or rovectin cleanser??
Is this similar to the hada labo foaming cleanser?

Yes I got it for $12 and it's the same size. I've seen it for $10-15 online

This one wasn't my favorite. A little drying for me. But my husband has very oily skin and did well with it.
I had a feeling some might find it a bit drying, for some reason I didn't but I thought some with dry skin might.
Yay 1st again 😁💗
You;re always on time- maybe I can fire cameraman and hire you to run the cameras instead?!?!

How to use..... a cleanser???? Really? Lol
