I’ve played, coached and watched football for over 65 years and have never seen a club with so many injured players. I don’t blame Ange for the injuries but really admire how he is attempting to deal with a situation that would kill most coaches/managers.
"I don't blame Ange for the injuries" Well maybe it's indirectly him or his regime causing it? Try to think a bit deeper before praising one of our worst managers ever under these owners.
@@haeskenhoff Nope, just not a FIFA-playing moron. You either know football or you don’t. The OP has been involved in football for over 65 years. Like most of us who understand football and people management, he knows how good Postecoglou is. If I had to guess your favourite Spurs manager in the past 40 years, I’d guess Mourinho. Right?
Ange. Working miracles. 8 teenagers and two 20 year olds in the squad today, and 3 of them net our goals. Show me another top league Manager in world football doing the same, or even similar... I'm happy to wait. Ange is setting us up for huge success in the near future... if we dont sell our best.
The look of sheer happiness on Ange's face after Mikey Moore scored, it just made my day. Also, I don't know if it's because of the stress, but Ange has lost weight and it really suits him. Congrats to everyone at the club on the result. I hope this worm has finally turned.
I think we so used to seeing him with that big sweater lol, but glad he’s losing weight, definitely feels motivated and setting a good example to the players to stay fit
delighted for the scorers tonight! their smiles and joy! playing without fear, playing for the badge! passion much needed! loved the way Ajayi just got the ball and run with it! we so need more of that, was also great to see Ange smilng again! he deserves a bit of a break! hopefully more happiness coming! #ENICOUT #ANGEIN
Good on you ANGE , HOPE THINGS IMPROVE FOR YOU , I use to go to SOUTH MELBOURNE GROUND many times , MELBOURNE was my team HUNGARIAN, I KNOW U PLAYED THERE , WAS A GREAT TIMES REGARDS JIM HOBART
Interesting to see the interpretation overseas, and not to say it isn't snarky in the UK, but from an Australian point of view that could be seen as good-natured banter here.
@@GordonGoodenough Yeah, true. It's just so clear, even in the good times, he loves being a contrarian. Especially if the reporters lead with some kind of "you must be disappointed" or "surely, this must..." statement.
If ange had the foresight to play the young players that got us through he'd be a good manager but he was forced to play the young players and that makes ange stackable.
G'day Ange - great job with a skeleton team and 3 goals from young academy players - amazing!! Football fans/ pundits go off quicker than out of date milk.
A great manager who has to deal with the terrible injury list at Tottenham, his own fans refused to support him ignoring the fact that he literally ran out if olayers so had to use kids, some who have literally just left school, it won't shut the haters up... As Glenn Hoddle stated the fans created zero atmosphere in the stadium which the players also have to fight against... More players are due back so lets hope this is the start of a revival in the league. COYS
Have consistently said changing manager achieves nothing as squad is what is, pundits it’s seem to ignore we are 3 completions and Ange has history of success, regardless of how his history is rated. Last year fans praised him, this year lost belief just hang in
100% agreed in changing managers achieves nothing so why did Levy sack 4 far superior better more experienced elite managers in Pochettino, Espirito-Santo, Conte & Mourinho? All would be doing far better for Spurs this season!
Love how he speaks about the club as whole. Not taking credit for the young lads and giving high praise to the Academy, and lets be honest a very smart adjustment when Dragu went down to bring the paces back up. I KNOW KNOW people will hate me for saying it but Tottenham Has built An EPIC stadium, Players under 20 that could really play in most first teams across Europe. Also the list of players out....... I don't know who said it? but i believe the golden Generation is coming!
If you push the kids, you can stunt their development. Stop asking for the children to do a grown man's job Their bones are not fully developed. If they get injured playing long high intensity games, you can end their career before they even have one! Respect to Ange for managing them well given the injury crisis
Dragusin coming off injured is a blessing in disguise, he’s an accident waiting to happen. Davis & VDV at CB & Djed at LB much better. Archie Gray needs to be in his natural CM posistion to get the best out of him
Not only that, but there have been baffling decisions regarding team selection and substitutions-almost as if the players had something compromising on Ange. Starting Bervall over Maddison, substituting Son for a midfielder when we desperately needed a winning goal-these decisions simply defy logic. Forcing Son to focus on defensive duties, draining his energy, and consistently using Maddison as a second-half substitute are equally puzzling. Maddison is a world-class player capable of changing the game, yet he isn’t given a guaranteed starting spot. That, frankly, makes no sense.
As a Korean, I have to ask-Tottenham fans, are you truly that delighted right now? It’s concerning that even the English, often regarded as football’s pioneers, seem so fixated on short-term victories while overlooking the bigger picture. Our starting players failed to deliver, and the fact that young players looked more cohesive in their team play is not something to celebrate-it’s a serious issue. Whether it was luck or well-executed play, three youth players happened to score (and credit to them for that), but to see Ange being hailed as a mastermind for this? That only highlights a lack of deeper football understanding, with emotions clouding judgment-something evident in the overwhelming number of comments. Let’s put things into perspective. Was the opposition Barcelona? Real Madrid? No-it was a team on Ipswich’s level. Our youth players scored three goals against them, and even that happened late in the second half, when we had been pressing all game and they were already exhausted. Is this really worth celebrating? Right now, the squad is plagued by injuries, with no clear tactical cohesion, structured counter-attacks, or effective set-piece strategies. Even free-kicks are chaotic-Maddison and Porro argue over them, and many players seem more focused on boosting their individual stats for a future move to a bigger club. We’ve even seen Bervall, Maddie, Porro take a shot away from Son, the captain-something that simply wouldn’t happen at a well-organized club. Ange, meanwhile, has yet to bring order to this situation. Even Tottenham’s tactical coaches appear hesitant, seemingly more focused on seeking his approval than fulfilling their roles. Compare this to managers like peak-era Guardiola or those who have led Real Madrid-they engage constantly with their staff, refining strategies mid-game. Ange, on the other hand, seems determined to stick to his approach regardless of what unfolds on the pitch. There’s no denying he has brought an exciting style of play, but unless these deeper structural issues are addressed, we risk being trapped in a cycle of inconsistency.
I think Tottenham should sack Ange before he does something… Imagine how much power at the club he would have if he wins a trophy. For that reason they got to sack Ange whilst they are 15th in the EPL
I've never went to another clubs fan channel to type in all caps some "please notice me" ass shi*. You should try getting a girlfriend or going outside little buddy.
