Olivia is my favorite Beatle wife. Courageous, charming, smart and lovely. Amazing woman!
She is the Beatle Wife so many overlook. Extraordinary Lady. Articulate, insightful, kindly and so knowledgeable. Who talks about a Benediction in our vacuous age.
And a dolt for being ok with George messing around with other women
@@JasandcamWho were the women that George was messing around with?
I believe that was occurring prior to Olivia's appearance on the scene.@@Jasandcam
Why compare and catalogue? Linda was amazing; best of humanity, champion for animal rights. Patti is awesome, Olivia is incredible.. Cynthia was such a classy woman... etc etc
Olivia is simply wonderful, you can understand why George was smitten. She was a rock, particularly during the last few years of his life.
She literally save George's life when that intruder with the knife entered their home. Olivia is the best rock musician wife that comes to mind for many reasons. George was a lucky man.
No wonder George loved her so deeply. She’s very intriguing & enlightened.
I'm 100% in awe of Olivia Harrison. George was blessed to have her. The Lady of Friar Park.
I cried through this whole thing. What a beautiful soul she is. No wonder George loved her so much.
Olivia is such a Class Act!
I would love it if Dhani Harrison or another musician uses her poems as lyrics for songs.
I totally would but I don't know if I should!
I had no idea Olivia Harrison was such an intelligent woman. That first poem she read literally sat me up from just laying there. She has an amazing mind.
Why are you surprised that she is intelligent?
@@lmarteen2778 There's intelligent and there's really smart and deep. She's really smart and deep. I was suprised because she doesn't have much out there of herself, being married to George.
George Harrison’s ears were incredible, his recordings are deliciously rich. His eyes were sharp, his women were stunning. His spirit was on the surface, and somehow he pulled millions closer to God. Olivia loved and respected him, and has been a great protector of his memory. I’d enjoy having tea with her
I rarely if ever stop to watch celebrities celebrate themselves and talk about their own "spiritualty" or 'religious" awakenings, because they are always so self-serving and narcissistic. But as a fan of George, I thought I'd stop here and what a pleasant surprise. She just seems like the 'real deal' and settled and comfortable with who she is. I liked how she talked to the audience while Martin just focused on her. It's always nice to be pleasantly surprised.
Wishing her well and happiness.
As a lifelong Beatle fan to see Olivia up close made me so appreciative that one of my heroes had such a deep and mindful partner. This lady , like George has a powerful inner beauty . ❤
What a wonderful talk with Olivia Harrison and Martin Scorsese about her poetic autobiography. Poignant and healing words.❤️🙏
Mrs. Harrison is such a beautiful person. You feel so good just knowing that she loves her husband and her son. A real lady. Touching.
Ha, that first shot with George and the tulips....definitely a "cinematic" moment and so fitting that it was the image that Scorsese started with, both in the process, and in the documentary itself.
Her poetry is beautiful
I agree.......Proper poetry
So grateful for this poetic experience of Olivia and Marty, two beautiful persons bringin us joy in this sad world ❤
A sweet lady with all the class in the world.
George was incredible. The Hemingway of lead guitar.
So beautiful. Olivia is a wonderful poet, and Marty did a great job with the interview all around. Love.
She had an episode of amnesia for a day. This could be a symptom of PTSD from the terrifying experience of the attack on George and herself.
She is something. Quite a brilliance. And quite talented 🙏🏽❤
Truly, Olivia is 'something.' 💖
Olivia is a beautiful woman , she’s aging gracefully.
I have always learned from George- thank you for this. I love and cried reading Olivias book.
What an amazing interview 👏👏👌I love George’s music🙏
Led here by the sound of Dhani's song "under the door" in my head... So many emotions. Gratitude.
Thank you Olivia and Martin, such a beautiful show !
I almost skimmed by this, so glad I stopped and thought about it and watched the entire talk. Just amazed by it all.
A wonderful lady. I'm glad I saw this.
This was FANTASTIC. Scorsese's questions were superb and her answers even moreso. Very inspiring, fascinating, comforting, bittersweet. I had no idea Olivia is doing film preservation!!! I know and love every title she mentioned. Ditto the silent films that Marty had sent her. Love that! Thank you, Olivia, if you're reading (which I'm sure she's not!)!
She is amazing and wonderful person !!!
I can see what George saw in her as a person. Lovely poetry. Some of it lends itself to music if someone were to be so inspired.
So, she is wonderful. She is a treasure. Nice to see how someone can judge a stranger and draw conclusions. And...people can deny another's rights based upon...things here online. She...and George, if he was here, would admit, I dare, to say: would admit that it ain't right. Or true. The Beatles, George in a great part, were part of a music revelution. But not the end all, be all. Not even close.
They were talented...extremely. They were possibly...the greatest rock band of all time. I am a huge fan. But....stop it.
Hey. They were the Beatles. But...stop it.
Get a life.
Wow, really great writing...very touching. I need to get this book. 🏵🌺🌻🌺🏵
A wonderful beautiful spirit .That story of the doodle bugs and bombing in Liverpool is the story of my Grandmother , she was there in Liverpool the whole War.
So beautiful 🙏heart felt grief- grateful for the sharing of your life’s journey and love Olivia 💚❤️
I was moved to tears by some this interview. This is about tribute and memorium, about the pain of grief and loss but also about learning and healing.
~ Thank you both for this great gift ~
Lovely conversation! I wasn't expecting. Thank you! ❤😊
Always thought Olivia was beautiful. Still do and what a powerful yet gentle soul.
Beautiful. I saw the same utter selfless love and joy in my mother’s gaze the night before she died. Thank you for sharing your poems, your memories, your love.
Not really. George cheated on her every chance she got. Olivia was having a torrid love affair with dodgers pitcher Fernando valuenuela in the 1980s.
Love this interview, wonderful.❤
Thanks for uploading this!
Olivia is a beautiful person, inside and out, God bless her and her son
. . . This is a more than beautiful interview...
What a beautiful and thoughtful video based on life and and growing beauty in the world and George of course George would be connected in love and life to someone like Olivia both with the ability to find beauty peace and spiritual love and just to work to preserve it and write about it whether in song or poetry an absolutely great video
Thanks for posting! beautiful content!!
Top woman. George was a lucky man.
I enjoyed this Thankyou. I’m looking forward to getting the book
Olivia is the real George's better half😍😍😍
We need more people like these two wonderful souls in our current toxic world.
That was fantastic.
Thanks so much for this. Love Olivia ❤
Very interesting and thoughtful. Thank you. 🙏
Thank you for this !
WOW!!! It made me cry😭😭😭
Thank you for this!...
Respect pour cette jolie femme et maman je me souvien qune fois en parlant de George elle a dis on a essayer de faire au mieu et moi jai envie de lui dire vous avez fais plus que mieux
On vous aimes vous et les votres pour la vie
She deserves the world and so much more, such a beautiful soul.
She almost talks like she's apologizing for showing Vengeance against someone trying to kill her husband , like she can't believe she defended herself, no you did the human thing that's natural human instinct to kill whoever tried to kill you
Wonderfull
Inshallah! I love that this was said! the beauty of Islam ☪️
Been there and done that . Luckily what she says is accessible to all of us.
Please legenda em português!
She and Dhani are doing a great job with George's legacy keeping us in know about George than George would . The documentary was great loved George and miss him aka Arnold Grove George lived on that street and he used that name as an alias which is very George
its beautiful ❤️
She should've kept paying Louise Harrison's pension no matter what she may have done to displease her. It's facts that give your true measure not empty words.
To the Estate of George, please for the love of God do the right thing and recognize Bobby Whitlock's contributions to All Things Must Pass recording sessions and album. The failure to do so in the first instance is a grave injustice. His presence and contributions are verifiable. I would think that George would've wanted it corrected and made right.
Think obviously George’s estate is business and continues to be so . Which is why Olivia is writing a book. George’s sister was cut off from the estate after George died . Rumour was that she’d used George’s name to make money . Why wouldn’t you ? not accusing or pointing the finger at anyone but I wont be interested in Olivia’s poetry book or any book from George’s sister who’s sadly passed now . Stopped watching this video after 15 minutes because I was bored . Bobby Whitlock was a incredible musician and highly regarded in England . His work is well worth searching for . In my opinion anyway .
On s'en fou de ce que tu penses c'est pas le sujet du discourt quand a la vie prive de cette dame ne vous regarde pas et a moi non plus je vous repond parceque je vous trouve deplace et mal elever
I wished that Olivia read the K.J.V. Bible with wisdom , knowledge and understanding, I believe that she probably did., George did and he even quoted some Bible verses from the Holy Scriptures , but still , he chose other scriptures from other resources, religions and mixed them together to create his own understanding of God, the universe, creation, life , nature, etc. which he used in many of his songs with inspiration. But he was strongly into the Indian religion which has and believe in many gods, idols, etc. he was always hungry for the Truth , for the facts, I believe that he was a realist., as a normal human being , he was just
curious about the the unknown
and the mysteries of life, etc. So he went deeper into the Spiritual realm , that was the ultimate goal, the afterlife, eternity . Now George Will finally know the real truth, the real life, the real facts, all the answers will be revealed In the son of the most high God., Jesus Christ our true God, our true Savior our true Messiah ,Yeshua. John Lennon and many others who have past away will acknowledge these truths on judgment day. He is very gracious and merciful and patient with all of us. There will be no excuses and no going back to fix it on earth., there’s only one way in life here on earth and in heaven, again, Jesus said , no man comes unto GOD the FATHER but through ME. Why? Because Jesus died in our place on our behalf on that cross , that IF we believe in Him, we will have eternal life. So now just like us all, we need to make the right decisions about God., Olivia, Paul, Ringo, the stones, etc. by the grace of God still has a chance to surrender their lives to Christ.
To end this comment, I believe that George created that garden before he died to leave his mark as a reminder of his love for nature, creation, etc. that was his final statement. He knew that his garden will out live his own life for all to cherish and to appreciate his Musical talents for the future generations to come.
We make the classic mistake of assuming that the Lord and his creation are as limited and as narrow and small minded as our perception of it and because of our ignorance and arrogance we blaspheme the Lord himself.
Spiritually, the Lord looks after everyone, he is not selective and does not have selective compassion, because we are all his sons, his wayward sons and the Lord wants us back home.
Therefore there are many scriptures.
Some more advanced and some less advanced than others according to time place and circumstance,
along with our ability and capacity to understand and surrender to God.
There are no accidents everything in creation is working perfectly.
Scripture is created by the Lord himself or his empowered representatives like..
Moses, Jesus, Mohamad, Buddha etc.
As the Lord himself says..
" Give up all varieties of religion and surrender to me,
I will protect you from ALL sinful reactions do not fear"
So we should try to start our spiritual life..
with humble enquiry.
Not blasphemy
There's a saying.
Don't demand to see the Lord.
But act in such a way.
That the Lord may want to see us.
George new more about these topics than many theological students, disciples or followers,
because he was sincere and put into practice what he heard and got some results by revelation.
That's the process and if you don't get anything from practicing a spiritual process, the process is either impotent, not bonafide or you are not following the process properly.
George followed devotion to the Lord by chanting the holy names of the Lord and offered his time his activities and the fruits of his activities to the Lord according to his capacity at any particular point in time.
That endeavour paid off as we can all see.
God exists in his holy names and if you chant and sing these names there is no difference between Gods name and if God is personally standing right in front of you.
George become transformed by hearing the holy names of the Lord and he took many thousands with him on that journey and that is no small thing.
she’s very emotionally intelligent
I read fernando's wikipedia n he is happy married to linda does not say he knew Olivia at all
Le Quantum Beat
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Borges! ❤
Did someone ask if George did Run of the Mill w Michael Jackson? Kid me not.
Existe esta entrevista con subtitulos en español?
Can someone tell me when this was filmed ?
A couple of month ago,☯️🤓
Booby Whitlock needs more mention
I believe both George and Oliva had affairs.
It happens.
They worked through it and stayed together.
Wow, u stole my line.. Cali girl.
Nothing is „meant to be“. Please, there is much too much religion and spirituality and esoteric in the film. George ist important ONLY because he was a member of the Beatles and a great musician. Otherwise, just leave philosophy alone……
Olivia Trinidad Arias, mexican origen
I think it was the trousers.
I want to ride in that SCOUT !
It's so sad that George and Olivia never found the truth. It was right there in front of them all the time.
Get Marty to hear my songs
The “lightening?”
Yes… like the lightening of an atmosphere or a mood. She’s written about her gradual acceptance of losing her soulmate.
Beautifu Where can you buy this boo❤❤
.
Buy this beautiful boo
You know that very evening Bobby , Al , and Joe were out ' whacking ' someone on behalf of Marty 🤣. Just joking boyz 🇮🇹✌️. Love you sri George and olivia ✌️🕉️
How morbid
INCHILA ?
Olivia, Barbra, Linda, & Cynthia all show how classless Yuko was & is.
Who is " Yuko?"
@@petes9524 Yoko. Duh

Yuko actually sounds more appropiate. @@petes9524
Olivia a horrible person who cut off Louise Harrison’s pension
WoW
George was giving her a pension? Didn’t know Louise worked for George and he set up a pension for her.
@@johnurban7333 he did for all his siblings. She was getting 1200 a month and the piece of shit Olivia cut it off. It’s despicable behavior. Louise was promoting beatle recordings in 1963. Also Louise saved the Ed Sullivan gig by nursing George to health. Olivia is a piece of garbage as a person for causing Louise to go into poverty. Awful fucking behavior. An absolute low.
Yep and cut it off in record time. Maybe she was concerned because the estate was down to its last 200 or so million .
@@regaltip8A she’s an awful shrew. She had affair with Fernando valuenzuela during 1980s.
All this talk about gardens and trees. What are they, Druids? No offense, but it's nonsense. There is so much human suffering in the world, if you have a chance between spending your free time working in a garden, or with children with cancer - please choose the second option. Make the world really a better place

To you maybe, thank you for expressing your negative thoughts on what is a beautiful expression of her love for her late husband and her love for poetry.
@@alexanderatherton1999 @alexanderatherton7602 .. love good poetry too, it's not because she's Harrison's wife that I'm obligated to find interesting 🧐 nothing negative about that.
No, Olivia...and Martin. It is not grace. George could very well have been murdered that night. It was only becuase you both fought back that he wasn''t. Good that you did. God had nothing to do with it. Grace or any kind of eithereal bug shit shing that y'all can cook up had nothing to do with your lives or that crazy killer. He was crazy, y'all barely survived it. Period. Fate,God, etc...fuck that.
A youtube computer just warned me about my comment. So be it.
Probably because I used bad words...too often.JFC

I rarely reread my comments, hell most of the time I don't remember making them. But I do when occasionally someone responds. My comment above was a hoot! 🤐😏🤥🙂. (three or 3.5 sheets to the wind). As badly as it was spelled and the grammatical errors, the gist of it was fine. I am not a true believer in spiritual entities nor in 'fate'. I truly believe that George and Olivia only lived through that night because of their courage, in fighting back. Oh, well. Later, bingo! @@bingohhhhhhhhhhhh

The Ballad of Sir Frankie Crisp!
Olivia had a torrid affair with dodger pitcher fernando valuenzuela. They had so many encounters that little Dhani called him uncle Nando to George’s Shame
Olivia’s poems are trite banal and vapid. Olivias passionate affair with dodger pitcher and fellow Mexican fernando valuenzuela broke georges heart little Dhani called valuenzuela uncle Nando since he could speak
Absolutely brilliant and very moving. Thank you 🙏💗
