- Let’s open SIX of the new Miniverse Series 3 Diner Series surprise capsules 🥳 I enjoyed making these new creations SO much 😊🧸❤️ but we won’t talk about the crepes… 🤣
I’ve seen a few RUclipsrs make the mint checker cake and nobody has been happy with it. Everyone has had the same issues. Thus far, yours has turned out the nicest I’ve seen. Once these make it to Canada, I think I’m going to use mint paint to cover the outside of the cake, before adding the resin for texture & gloss, & to secure the chocolate chips, if I get this cake.
If you get the crepes again, I suggest trying to put a bit of a thicker layer of resin on half the crepe only, add the fruit along the edge, cure it, then fold it over, weigh it down with something heavier (maybe a coin?), & add just a bit of resin near the front edge by the fruit (just enough to secure the top layer of the crepe, like the filling is squishing out in a couple spots), & cure that. Anything that is covered by the crepe isn’t going to cure, so it’s going to be a challenge (impossible?) to do it in one step.
I feel like these newer ones are more aimed at adults who have fallen in love with miniverse, as I can’t see kids managing some of these.

I just did the checker cake last night and it looks like a 5 years olds first attempt at frosting a cake. I so wanted it to be smooth and pretty because I love it on the package. I like your tips maybe next time.

I love the cake, it looks yummy... You did a good job with all those chocolate chips... I wouldn't mind having a piece of cake like that... You did good on all of them... I enjoyed doing the crapes, it was a challenge... Who's going to win, me or the crapes, it was me LOL... I used a small handheld UV flashlight to cure the edges shut, just put a small amount between the fruit and the edge and cure... The inside is not going to cure because the light won't get in so don't put too much resin inside, just decorate the edges... Just a thought on the crapes... You harden the rice in the mold then tip the rice on the tray on the flat side after you packed cure it and put the sushi on the rounded side of the rice...You always do a good video... Take care...

You can do fun things with doubles, like make your own "Frozen Moments" items, you can customize them, you don't have to do them like the kit says. Thats the fun thing about doubles. Or mash the doubles and make your very own recipes with all your doubles mixed up.
YES! I don’t usually even mind doubles, unless it’s the crepes 😖 I like mixing and matching to make my own too, which I should probably start showing on camera LOL

@QueenBeansCollectibles I learned that by using pastel chalk (not oil but chalk) scrape some & mix into resin you can make it opaque & dye it since then are pure pigment. As far as crape use becon fabric tac it will hold them together while the resin cures

Thr salad I found it easier to use the yellow ball to mix it really good with the resin. Came out beautiful. The checkercake I did thin layers of the resin, like 6 layers lol n placed the chips individually along the bottom. Came out great. I have to say i love how u did the side of urs covered in the choc chips, genius! The crepes were one of my favorites i just put a good amount of resin in the middle, i didnt want anything on top, n i made em like i like to eat em lol. They had enough resin so they stayed stuck. So adorable. I'm so excited to get my hands on the valentines n the new drink dispensers n the home series. Ugh the r such an obsession but a great obsession lol
Lol. Watching u do the crepes I wanna yell thru the video n say yes u need to have crepes in real life, u need way more spread in it lol. I do hope u cleaned them up n try again. They really r cute when finished.

A handheld UV flashlight is your friend, it cures in seconds which helps stop drip issues and assists with anything that needs to be held in place as it sets. Also, i suggest adding more resin to those crepes, it's supposed to look like chocolate spread and it isnt just to stick the fruit on
Y'all are really making me wish I got the flashlight version of a UV light 🤣 whoopsy!
I suggest gluing the crepes together with super glue and let it dry and then you can add resin on top and decorate how you like.... It's like double glue ...
Also for the salad I would have used the plastic ball it came in to use like a big mixing bowl so that each piece of lettuce gets a bit of resin and then cure all together..... It works!!!!
You would think I would have thought about glue…. 🤦♀️ I was so mad at myself that I just could not LOL hopefully I get a double and I can get a second chance 😉🤣

Oooh a tip for the Crepe's .❤ Roll the Crepe's like a fruit roll up. That's how they ate served in real life . Mabe put alittle stuff in the middle and roll up and top them with some of the filling. 😊

Yeah the crepes are terrible. They are actually made out of a material that is designed to not stick to resin but also not fold. Plus you can’t cure resin thats hidden inside. They might need super glue to work

There is a girl on here who made a weight chart for these so you can weigh them and get exactly what you want 😊

I did one coat at a time on the checker cake but It did come out lumpy. I spent a long time placing each chocolate chip around the bottom and a few in between the whipped cream. I wish I saw yours first because the chips on the side look so much better.
It was hard for me as well! We just have to keep trying on the duplicates we get 😉🥰
Personally I want 2 of each as I only put them together once I have a second one.
But after pulling 8 of the fish ice cream I decided to just buy the Caesar salad online. 10 dollars is too much to be buying a bunch blindly and its annoying they charge you 3 dollars for the plastic table.

How are people getting Series 3 when most places state it does not release until Dec 1st
I went to a crazy amount of Targets until I found them! It took forever but I finally found one box of them! Keep an eye out at Target, especially if you have a Super Target near you, they seem to be putting them out the fastest Happy Hunting!
