What does a 5 part humic acid to 2 parts kelp mean? Are we talking about powdered HA and kelp or their extracts, and if so, which extract strenght are they and at which dilution should they be used? Links to virginia tech study please? Thank you.

As organic matter breaks down in the worm's gut, it produces humic substances that are naturally present in the castings. To get the most out of these humic and fulvic acids: 1️⃣ Brew Worm Castings into a Tea: Steeping your worm castings in aerated water for 24-48 hours can extract these beneficial acids, along with microbes that improve soil and plant health. 2️⃣ Apply Directly to Soil: Adding castings to your soil or growing medium releases humic substances slowly, improving nutrient retention and uptake. If you want higher concentrations, you can combine your castings with products like humate-based extracts, but your homemade worm castings are already a fantastic, natural source.
