@@geoffpeacock514 yes iv tried emailing with no answer. Also on their face book site but same no answer. I'm waiting for the ftx one to become available so I can try that one
@@nigelbellwood3725 I spoke to CML DISTRIBUTION about the FTX one (4 Rock I was told it's going to be called) but they almost denied any knowledge of it Surely there must be a source of this part somewhere as both RGT and FTX have upgrade portal axles for their trucks Anyway I'll be interested if you source an alternative Keep posting the videos 👍

Thanks for your reply I have managed to get back running but spares are on back order everywhere. This can sometimes make it difficult to keep with stock parts.
Hello! I faced up with the same problem. I tried to install drive schaft from RGT 86100 (p/n P860015) but with no result, it doesn`t fit a little bit, diameter of a hinge is little bigger then an opening in a gear. Did you find a way to solve the problem?
Goto aliexpress. Type in rgt and the part number. They have the axles and parts for this truck. The key is you have to have the part number.
Plenty of parts now but when this happend the model was new and no parts were available. Thanks for watching
The axles are more than likely Axial clones. I would take it to the hobby shop and see what fits.
I found the axles online, simply by googling rgt and the part number in the book that came in the box.
Also found the brass counter weights to suit
Also utilize the slipper clutch more to prevent that type of failure. Those fusion’s will destroy
Problem is not all trucks use clutches anymore
Hey :-) Nice vid, great car \m/ Any idea, where to get spare parts for this car? Greets
AliExpress
@@nigelbellwood3725 could not find anything of aliexpress ;-(
@@Guden79 what parts are you after
@@nigelbellwood3725 its ok, i wont buy this car, because the spare parts are rare to get. Greets
Nice car maybe convert to Capra axles.
Assuming the splined bit is held on with a pin someone with a small lathe should be able to make a new drive shaft easily enough.
Yeh there's a small ball under it
Have you tried emailing RGT?
I am seriously thinking about buying one of these but this has kerbed my enthusiasm a bit!

@@geoffpeacock514 thanks for info there is a part for the ftx axel but nobody has it in stock yet
nice car
This problem has been repeated?
The shaft same rgt ex86190?
Not sure they are the same as pumpkin is not central on axel and one drive shaft is longer than the other

Hi I tried the same ones and filed them down to fit. It lasted 5 minutes. I then fitted part no ftx9218-7 this works fine.
@@nigelbellwood3725 Thanks for advice!
CHANGE OVER TO A CAPRA AXLE OR A FRONT RYFT AXLE
