Part of me believes his plan was to have a social media company called x for years but simply couldn't be bothered to make it himself, like al his other ventures. So the easiest and likely cheapest way to go about that is just to buy one and change it that way

The real reason he bought Twitter is that he attempted to manipulate the market he had shares in by saying he would buy it without intending to. Which, of course, is not legal! So he got locked into honoring his promise. He didn't actually want to buy Twitter, he's just braindead.

There's always such a thing as too much of something nice, and i think we run into that constantly with social media...its not designed to just pop in, enjoy and leave, its meant to become an impulsive habit. I treat browsing it like reading a morning paper now...i catch up on the days relevant events then move on, and i think thats worked out great so far. Love the videos, you have a great way of putting what we're all feeling.
