I was recently in a relationship that I feel is with a twin flame. They triggered an abandonment issue and I became clingy so they ghosted me which really made me feel unlovable. I thought I was living a fairytale and the bottom fell out. Now I'm at rock bottom. I have realized that this trauma he triggered came from when I was about 3. My sister came to visit with her husband and her 6 children. This always stressed my mom out. Her kids were hyper and my mom didn't know how she was going to feed all of them. One of my nieces was teasing me and I ran in to where my mom was doing laundry. I went crying to her to save me and she turned around and started choking me. I just remember thinking, "why is my mommy trying to kill me?" My whole life I thought I was unlovable. So I would try to be the person everyone would like. I try so hard to be someone somebody could love. How can I get rid of this? I've tried for decades. I'm 62 now and I want to heal this trauma and be done so I don't do things to drive people away.
