Anton if the aramid fibers were thicker it could help from ballistics but when they use covers like that it’s usually for glare and bullet splash when bullets hit bare metal they splatter with aramid fibers around it can absorb some of the shrapnel in between the fibers and metal so it can’t hit you in the face shoulder arms or your buddy standing right by you
To the people saying this is OP, please listen to my counterpoints : It's extremely hard to receive, Jaeger quests basically kick you in the nutsack because he's a masochistic pig. It costs 500k which is deffinitly not chump change. It forces you to wear a helmet with no faceshield, the best protection you can get is lvl 3 if you decide to use the bright yellow AVS, which is pretty trash againt anyone planning to do PvP. (Vulkan with thermal+visor is most likely a bug) It also forces you to waste a few seconds to turn off the thermal, at which point, you either lost your chance or you get tapped, although that depends since there are alot of snipers on maps like woods.
the main point is though, if you know where everyone is before they know where you are you typically dont have to worry about getting tapped yourself. this honestly is like turning easy mode on. No need to actually use your eyes to spot movement in foresty areas, just pop these on and spin 360 until you see some heat. Yes they are expensive and hard to get, so early and mid game you probably wont run into many players using them. But late game when all the hardcore players are lvl 40+ with millions, this is going to become meta for them and probably get run every raid. And 500k isnt much when those hardcore players have every key and can make millions in single raids doing hatchet runs. im fine with it for now because its still early in the wipe, but as a rather casual player myself, people like myself arent going to stand a chance later in the wipe.
Just wait till you're on woods against a sniper squad where one guy is using it as a spotting tool while the other domes you through 18 bushes like a scav.
the people who run labs 24/7 you really think 500k to them is an issue? The moment a bullet lands next to a guy using these they'll just shove em back in their container. I know tarkov is gun porn in video game format but these type of things do not belong in a game. From a gameplay perspective they are stupidly broken. End game for .12 will be just squads running with 1 guy using these goggles at least just cleaning servers.

The chassis on that Remington is made by Accuracy International, the same company who made the L96. Great chassis, personally own one. Love how I can now use the loadout I have in person in the game with the Remington 700 in the AICS Chassis, Glock 17, and a P90 (technically the PS90 in semi only for civilians). Love this game lol

they are 11 million at vendor, for the thermal monocle, so they will always be extremely expensive... if a squad brings it in and even loses 1 of them all other value they have collected that run wont come close to the price ;b so i doubt you will see alot of them in the low loot maps i dont know where you got the 500k from, or where he did, unless they just changed the value from 11 mill to 500k ;b

It's either I don't hear the game or all of my neighbors hear you talk 'n' squawk. Your gaming talent is enough, you don't need to be a drama queen like so many other (less talented) streamers. Please don't take that path. Just keep doing what you do best and you'll have followers forever. Perhaps turn the game volume up and your mic down to balance it out.

dude exactly my situation killed 3 dudes (1 group of 2) and got ganged up by 3 regular scavs lvl 4 armor and kiver w/ faceshield, used up 3 CMS on blacked limbs only had a red dot so I got rekt Anton, you're not the only shidder
Dude the PP19 is no fucking joke this wipe xD I killed two dudes in their EOD forts, one had a altyn with a faceshield and the other a kiver, both had nice AK's i legged the first one and got a lucky headshot on the kiver dude and got out with everything. I just had a PP19 and two mags for it ;D
see the arrow next to "armor class" when you examine the helmet? Use your cursor and pop up menu will show you armor class of each helmet part. Same thing with "armor areas". At least that was like that before 0.12.
@@AntonsChannel It's always been like that for basically every helmet in the game that has a visor. Only ones that show the armor class without hovering over the icon are the Firefighter's Helmet, the Jeta, and the Devtac helmet, mainly stuff that isn't really used in normal play.
So are the super scavs intended or is that gonna be fixed, because getting sniped by a toz after getting some nice player kills just like this is getting annoying.

The high cost of the thermals is almost completely offset my the fact that you will most likely see anyone within 100 meters of you before they even know you exist, even with the small FOV. Just spin 360 on a good vantage point and you're good. You could easily make 500k with just PVP loot using these. All you have to do is survive one raid and they've paid for themselves. These essentially turn easy mode on. Jesus, just imagine sitting suppressed in a bush in a high traffic area just aiming at the stark white silhouettes on a black background. It's kind of like how once you can afford your first labs key-card you're set for life. A single decent run will net you 2-3 times the cost of the card.
I wish I could play this game. My laptop barely ran it. 50 fps in factory. Played with bots. Was really amazed just how polish gun handling is. Recoil is amazing unlike PUBG CSGO and other fps games I have played.
