so people in black clover are able to shoot their affinity of magic even if they don't have any spells so when Zora destroyed the crystal and or hurt the purple orcas vice-captain he shot pure ash magic probably , think of it like this Noelle's first attack spell was sea dragon roar but before she learned that spell she was still able to shoot big balls of water even though she had no spells. we never think about it but how many people in the black clover world actually have spells probably barely any of citizens have spells

So they will most likely go on a break for a year or 2 if anything maybe 3, worst case scenario, they turn the show into a seasonal anime,.

It kinda sucks black clover staff was still going through hard times during this arc, though we really can expect a huge growth in future episodes.

I believe Zora had a full counter trap set up to take out the real vice captain. So the captain had his own spell amplified and sent back.
