    Just ordered a fuelx lite. I have installed a competition works resonator delete pipe. It didn't make the bike much louder while giving it a little deeper tone so I recommend it if you feel like removing some weight and would like some more grunt to the bikes sound. It was a pain to install and wish it came with exhaust gaskets, FYI. I also put on the TRex skid plate that wasn't meant for a 2023 model which required a good bit of modification "cutting and drilling" but I could make it work in the end. Very happy with the resonator delete and don't plan to change the muffler so I don't upset my neighbors.

      Interesting. Between the Fuel-X Lite and the DNA filter I’m really happy with the performance and sound. Rarely have I had bike in this class that didn’t cry out for an aftermarket slip-on but this one just doesn’t. Plus, I’m not good at working on these things. If things don’t fit easily I start swearing and screaming and forcing things-it’s not pretty! So I’m good with the way it is. But I applaud you for getting that done!

    I think that I would enjoy owning a Svartpilen too. Even the made in the Phillipines reduced feature version.

      I see the Philippines version has cast wheels instead of spokes but if the engine, frame, suspension and brakes are the same it must still be a great bike!

      Owned the Philipine version here in my country. Its 2021 model and its the only that got stuck here in my country because of the lockdown situation at the time. But I owned the Vitpilen but goes the same for the Svart too. Although I would pretty much wanted an adjustable fork but overall still a fun bike without it.

    Rock Bros make a really good hardshell tail bag that fits nicely on the 401, as long as you don't sit right back over part of the pillion.

    Nice video, I'm looking into getting one in the future. I would be upgrading from a Honda Grom and I prefer smaller nimble motorcycles so this would be perfect. I hope they upgrade the dash in the future.

      Thanks. The dash is terrible but at least I can see my speed and rpm virtually all of the time. Other data on the screen takes sharp eyes and the right light conditions. But I wouldn’t let that put you off the bike. Not at all. 👍

      I recently upgraded to a svartpilen 401 from a honda grom. Very happy with my upgrade. Can't wait to see how it feels in the low rpm's after installing a fuelx lite. it does feel a bit held back until 5k rpm and then it lets go and feels wonderful stock.

      @@WARweezy it’s smoother under 5K but still wants 5K and up. Don’t fight it! Cruise along happily at 6K and don’t give it a thought!

    did you notice some changes to your fuel consumption after you installed the fuelx lite?

      I did not. But I didn’t check. If it changed it was too slight to notice.

    Did your check engine light come on after installing fuel x? Mine did idk what’s up with it tho

      @QuentinsMotoVlog  10 месяцев назад +1

      No, I haven’t had any changes to my warning lights. No check-engine light. I would try to contact the Fuel-X manufacturer and ask them about possible causes. Good luck!

    Nice video man! I have a question, If I install a high flow air Filter and the high flow cover do I need the Fuel x Lite ? Or can I run it like that? TVM and safe riding

    • @QuentinsMotoVlog
      @QuentinsMotoVlog  10 месяцев назад

      I don’t think you need the Fuel-X Lite. When make changes like the air filter, they say to turn the bike on and let it idle for ten minutes without touching the throttle and then turn it off. This allows the onboard ecu to adjust itself. However, the Fuel-X Lite is great for smoothing out some of the jerkiness and hesitation the bike has at low rpms. Thanks!

    Can you add a link for the place where you ordered/bought the Fuel-X Lite?

      I just searched eBay, AliExpress and Amazon and I don’t see it on any of them. Not sure where I got it or where you might buy one! Maybe google Fuel-X Lite and check with the manufacturer? Sorry for the late response and lack of a good answer.

    Transmission fluid is just the engine oil.

    The cost of maintenance makes it not worth buying.

      @QuentinsMotoVlog  6 месяцев назад +1

      Why do you say that? I’m curious. I did the first oil change myself. Bike runs perfectly. 3700 miles and so far I’ve only spent about $75 on maintenance.
