It's honestly priceless how quickly she went from "well you might not have a job tomorrow" to "no I can't leave the plane, please!", literally not even 30 seconds. This lady is probably so used to treating service workers like garbage if things don't go her way, it didn't even cross her mind that the flight attendant could kick her off the flight for being nasty. Extremely satisfying lol
My last flight with my 2 year old, she was crying and really upset during takeoff. I apologized to the woman sitting next to me and she told me "I am flying home from burying my 2 year old nephew. Nothing your beautiful daughter does can bother me.". That really hit me hard.
This brings tears to my eyes, I'm sorry this happened to you and your family. You are a gracious human being, you put this in perspective. Take care, Js
Wow! I had a great mentor who showed me the example of helping traveling mothers with distressed babies instead of being critical. I try to emulate that and it’s worked quite nicely.
Shoooo Marissa, you saved many many from unnecessary strife in their life. Just imagine how she is at work and in life in general. Thank you, Marissa and Tabitha.

@@tommylasauce4942 Why did you start "Let's hope" with a capital letter in the middle of a sentence? In internet writing you can get away with punctuation - but bad spelling is bad spelling. So my point is this - we all make mistakes - none of us are perfect. Just try and remember that.
I respect this mother for her humility, but I have to disagree. If someone threatened to take away my job, my livelihood and my chance to provide for my family, I'd have no regret or compassion in taking away hers. I know that's harsh, but nobody has the right to trample over people like that.
I know what your saying about losing her job, but on the other hand , I cant help wondering how many times shes gone ballistic on other people, because if she went off as bad as she did on this video chances are shes done it in the past. I was once seated on a plane next to a lady with 18 month old twins and honestly it was lucky I was there to pitch in. It’s mortifying enough when your child is melting down, grown ups throwing tantrums too is just exhausting.
I’m with you, I would’ve immediately told her to sit down and I would help with the child if I could. But of course I’m a grandma so I have plenty of training. I’m sorry this lady put everyone in that position, but I can’t say she didn’t get what she deserved. People have got to realize their actions are bigger than just the moment they’re in.
You want to be Tabitha? Hmm now that's just totally random but sure, why the heck not? I can picture it now. "She is being obnoxious, loud, rude, and it's unprofessional. That's it, I've seen enough. Gimme your airplane seat, I'm taking over! And at the end of this flight, some people will have a job, and some people won't. Crikey!"
Imagine how this lady treated any employees under her. I hate to see bad things happen to people, but it seems her behavior had gone unchecked for far too long.
Are you posting this for deaf people? The video has closed caption so you don't need to. If you are going to transcribe the video then do all of it instead of just a portion that you like. That's pretty fucked up.
She definitely deserved losing her job after threatening to get the flight attendant fired!! Loved it when she said "I want this woman off the plane"!! Too late to be sorry now, Beyotch!!!😂😂😂
Oh the irony is delicious! During her tantrum, Ms. Peirez threatens the flight attendant because she has to sit near a toddler. Huffing and puffing into her seat... “Name?” Tabitha. “Thank you, Tabitha. You may not have a job tomorrow.” .... Next day, Ms. Peirez is the one without a job! 🤭
Yes, this pretty clearly falls under 49 US Code §46504 ‘interference with flight crew’, a federal offense, and while it was probably an idle threat in my opinion it was right to kick her off the flight.
I understand the woman feeling bad, but when she threatens a woman trying to be helpful that she would lose her job for..... doing her job? That woman loses the right on wether things are shared online. Tabatha is amazing for immediately standing up for herself.
While she exited the flight she said that everyone would regret removing her from the flight...so yeah she shouldn’t be someone to feel sorry about, her attitude is totally appalling.
"You won't have a job tommorrow"" "Get this lady off the plane" "NO.. I'M SORRY. SORRY. NO. I'M KIDDING. IT WAS A JOKE. TABITHA PLEASE I THOUGHT WE WERE COMRADES"
Would have given the woman the "benefit of the doubt" , may have suffered migraines , anxiety, etc. That is until the "privileged" attitude came through. "Name dropping" , acting superior is way out of line and uncalled for! She may have been having a bad day, but keep your "karma" to yourself. You earned it good or bad, live with it.
If a person is so dang allergic to children that they will have a full blown adult-tantrum, its as simple as calling the airline or noting during your booking that you can't sit beside an infant or child due to so and so reasons. So no, no benefit of the doubt from me.
Plus when she asked Tabitha (the stewardess her name) and said nice to meet you but you might not have a job tomorrow. That is an asinine move. I understand that not everyone likes babies/children, but this woman took it to THAT LEVEL where it is obvious she is drunk with her own privilege and needs a reality check. Hopefully this was said reality check she needed.
Idk, I feel like there was no excuse for her to act like that. If she knows she can't stand the sound of babies and she's going to be flying then she should always have ear plugs or noise canceling headphones with her. Plus it was really messed up how she threatened the flight attendants job. I guess she didn't have the pull she thought though since instead she might lose hers. She should've been nice from the beginning, not only pretend to be nice once she heard the flight attendant say she wanted her off of the plane. Hopefully she learns a lesson from all of this whether she loses her job or not.
This is hilarious 😂 I love how she went from self-righteous to pleading for mercy in a span of 5 seconds. As if being on the New York Council on the Arts means jack squat.
"You may not have a job tomorrow." "I want this lady off the plane." "No, I can't! I apologize!" Yeah you can't be misbehaving on a plane. You have got to get over yourself and be respectful. What an attitude.
The mom did right... That lady was very rude and to the attendant. And if she lost her job over it... maybe she will think twice before being a Karen...
That's what she gets for threatening that flight attendant's livelihood😒 she's in a position of customer service but that doesn't mean she's gonna turn into a hired goon for the highest earning customer. I hope this teaches that 'govt employee' to watch how she treats people.
@@thehinge I don't think she was free? Wasn't the issue that was her assigned seat and she was throwing a tantrum to sit somewhere else because she doesn't like babies but she didn't have that right? Wasn't she threatening the flight attendant because she wasn't allowed to change seats?
Flight attendants #1 job is safety, not serving drinks or kissing passengers egos/attitudes. Rudeness can turn dangerous mid-flight. The state code of conduct handbook and its policy and procedural manual determine whether or not this woman keeps her job. Same with most jobs. All of "we royals" might benefit from this viral video reminder.
No sympathy. I travel for work and have done so for 20 years. You do not give lip to the flight attendants. I have had exactly ONE experience where the flight attendant was what I considered rude and out of line. That is after countless hundreds of flights. Even that one time I simply did not argue with her as they have overwhelming power to bounce you from the flight. At the same time I have had more experiences than I can count where passengers were out of line with flight attendants. That puts the one bad experience I had in perspective.
She should not feel regret. Susan’s behavior not only attacked her but attacked an employee and used her job as card to get what she wants. Susan is wrong on several different levels. No need for this mom to sorry for Susan’s bad behavior.

pam harmatiuk I thought the same. Others have shitty poor-paying jobs like air hostess. You'd think she would have treated them with civility. If she had complaints, she could have complained at least politely.
pam harmatiuk I don't see why anyone would lose their job for what they do in private, especially when no one has the right to just film you like your the police or acting in any official capacity. It's ridiculous
Public transportation, like on a flight isn't private. Private would be a chartered plane. Where do people get this idea that flying on airbus's (it's right in the name of one manufacturer) is something exclusively for VIP's. There's nothing VIP about flying on a plane with 20, 50, 200 other people. You're sitting with the rabble. Deal with it.
How the rats do scurry when the lights go on. If she was so special, why wasn't she in the Special Snowflake section of the plane, rather than flying steerage with the little people?
I felt bad for that young mother... but forget it ! Young mother is an idiot, because the idiot is defending a bully !!!!!! Bullys should be FIRED, and kicked off flights !!!!!!
Yanni Kavadas - What if... that " bully, " caused a flight attendant to be " fired," due to her lies... BULLIES... are demons from hell !!!!!! Stupid, idiot, mother !!!!!! The dumbest mommy on Earth !!!!!!
Susan Peirez got Susan Peirez fired. Not Marissa, her baby, the flight attendant, or anyone else. Hope Marissa realizes this now. The plane wasn’t even fully boarded & the pilot hadn’t yet turned on the “fasten your seatbelts” sign before Susan began to create a hostile environment on the flight, attempted to dictate that she would sit in a seat different from the one she’d purchased, attempted to dominate at least 2 other passengers & 1 flight attendant, used the power that came with her own job to threaten the attendant’s livelihood, & undermined the aforementioned attendant’s authority in front of other passengers, in effect attempting to highjack the whole plane... I’m surprised she wasn’t hauled off in cuffs, she would’ve deserved that too.
I never feel bad when someone brings up their “Job tittle name “ that always back Fires .Dont believe me ask the C.E.O. Of del taco or the doctor who gone crazy on Uber .
Funny because I was on a flight where I saw a male Flight Attendant who clearly had some phobia of crying babies and this guy was absolutely losing his mind about this one baby that wouldn't stop crying during boarding. He started screaming at the mother to shut the baby up. Threatening to kick her off the plane. After 10 minutes he approached her 4 times each time the Flight Attendant was getting more and more agitated as if the crying was eating a hole through his brain. Eventually the baby stopped and the plane took off. I wanted to hurt that attendant so bad but knew if I opened my mouth I would have been kicked off.....looking back on it, it feels like it would have been worth it to mess that guy up a little!
8/18/19....Flight attendant SHOULD have tried to get the woman another seat b/c NOT TOO MANY PPL would want to sit next to a crying baby on any flight!
Really? Wow. She just got upset about a kid being next to her. She was on vacation probably. And she should be fired? That’s not fair. I see why the lady recorded and laughed at her but fired for having negative feelings isn’t justice. It’s immature to agree with that. Like a highschool mindset
Suyapa Opina yeah I can't stand people who think they're above everyone else, "better than" and everyone else is less then them, talking down to people because you feel like you're better then someone else is bizarre. So yes I have to agree with you, she definitely dug herself into that hole all on her own. Reminds me of that one chick from the show on MTV teen mom, Farrah is her name. Haha she also got herself fired as well.
Thank you Coconut, the social media lynch mod never stops. I was really disliking this mom watching the original story for agravating the situation and using her baby as a shield for curse words, glad she has a heart for that lady that was probably very stressed out. While it's possible she is just like that all the time, there was probably a chain of events that made her have that meltdown.

OmegaMan Sure. Best way to publicly apologize to the woman and appeal to her employer. However, I need to say that I am not remotely sorry that spoiled woman lost her job. She only apologized when she realized Tabitha had the power to kick her off the plane. 100% chance she has been a nightmare for folks in the service industry her entire adult life. That’s garbage.
The way she acted about sitting next to a baby was bad enough. But threatening to get someone terminated for not giving in to your demands is crossing the line.
The Official deserved what she got...she chose her actions, as my mother always said "if you don't have something nice to say, then don't say anything at all."
The mother said she was upset the woman swore around her child, yet when she was talking about it on inside edition, she was holding her baby in her arms and swore right in front of the child herself. Lmfao
Berit Hogan That’s irrelevant, if you don’t want bad language around your child then you explain what the other person said with out actually using the language they used.
Youness Messouar actually yes it does, if you don't want someone swearing around your 2yr old son, then explain it without swearing around your 2yr old son yourself. Makes a lot of "ducking" sense to me.
*ReBeCca Jane* maybe it was more about the fact that she was swearing because of the baby. I think it's rude for a complete stranger to cuss in front of someone else's kid who you don't know. The more important part here is how the older lady acted like a total bitch, so she deserved what she got.
Thing is...the baby was not even crying! The b*tch complaining was making a worse racket and as an adult should have known better...the 8 month old baby...I couldn't hear a peep from it, the older woman whining was just expecting it to! I think take-off hurts a baby's ears? Some cry about it...
I had my 7 month old daughter on a connection flight to Las Vegas... there was a huge group flying to party in Vegas, needless to say, noisy as hell. At the end of the 3 hour flight, as we are filing out, one of the group goes, "there was a baby on this flight?" And they all proceeded to carry on their noise in awe of my daughter's silence. Irony. Lol.
I've seen companies jump the gun and fire people just based on the reaction to partial information, but her job did a full investigation and came to the same conclusion. She got what she deserved.
She only apologizes when there's a consequence for her. I'm happy the video was posted, who knows how many times this woman tried to use her position to strong arm someone. I think she deserves to lose her job 100%

Porn & Coco That's funny. Thank God somebody felt obligated to deal with with you when you were just unripe crotch fruit or maybe they didn't that's why you have a service dog that I suppose everybody is obligated to accept because it's a law. And I can say that because I'm disabled and so is my son and as a disabled individual I understand that whether we like it or not we are really somehow second-class citizens. The one thing I've noticed in this video is you never actually hear the baby cry and you never hear this mother being rude to anyone; but you do hear this other lady being rude to everybody. And you know what, you don't have a right to be rude to other people no matter what you're dealing with.
This mom is aces in my book. So many people want revenge to the extreme. She realizes the incident was out of hand but should not result in such a severe consequence. Compassion people! Babies have to travel too!
I love that the mom shows true compassion even though this woman was so openly entitled and rude to her. Hold people accountable for their actions but also have it in your heart to forgive and move on. I can’t deny though I do think it’s funny she lost her job after.
I love this. Treat everyone with kindness especially on a plane where all of you are traveling together... working for someone important does not make you better than ANYONE else!!
Dont feel bad. You provided an invaluable service to your city This woman has no business working for the people of New York. If she was this disrespectful to you on a plane, just imagine how she treats others she works with or the general public. Good job 👏

And everyone gave her sympathy then she also was given an upgrade to first class.

Yes, you do regret it a bit however, people are used to not being responsible for their actions. So don't feel bad
I hope son / daughter don’t come to surprise her with a pregnancy announcement
Have to agree with Vickie Lewis, maybe the video will give this woman a wake up call, and get her to realize that she cant disrespect people, because it will come back to bite them
Why do you and me need to know how a person acts when tired, irritated, sick, whatever? It is okay for you then if I film your mum or dad or grandparents at their worst and put it on social media where everyone can judge them?

I respect this mother for her humility, but I have to disagree. If someone threatened to take away my job, my livelihood and my chance to provide for my family, I'd have no regret or compassion in taking away hers. I know that's harsh, but nobody has the right to trample over people like that.
I know what your saying about losing her job, but on the other hand , I cant help wondering how many times shes gone ballistic on other people, because if she went off as bad as she did on this video chances are shes done it in the past. If she had calmed down there wouldn't have been a video and she wouldn't have to worry about her job

She threatened the flight attendants job. In my opinion, she deserves it.
She had no problem threatening the flight attendant with her job
"You won't have a job tommorrow""
"Get this lady off the plane"
"NO.. I'M SORRY. SORRY.
Never excuse someone for “having a bad day”, the way she acted was rude and uncalled for. That’s more then a bad day, it’s just a bad personality.
Judy Osborne it’s really not the mothers problem though if she suffers migraines and anxiety. Other than that I totally agree with you
Idk, I feel like there was no excuse for her to act like that.
Mom’s sympathy was in the wrong place. Susan made a threat to make herself feel superior, it just backfired. Flight attendants did the right thing.

Right. Ms. Peirez was free to sit down, away from the child and be quiet. Instead, she chose to try and bully the flight attendant. Bad choice.
No sympathy. I travel for work and have done so for 20 years. You do not give lip to the flight attendants. Even that one time I simply did not argue with her as they have overwhelming power to bounce you from the flight.

The way she acted about sitting next to a baby was bad enough.
But threatening to get someone terminated for not giving in to your demands is crossing the line.
Does anyone think that lady would be sympathetic if she made you lose your job?
The Official deserved what she got...she chose her actions, as my mother always said "if you don't have something nice to say, then don't say anything at all."
The mother said she was upset the woman swore around her child, yet when she was talking about it on inside edition, she was holding her baby in her arms and swore right in front of the child herself. Lmfao
She was just quoting what the woman said to her though.

*ReBeCca Jane* maybe it was more about the fact that she was swearing because of the baby. I think it's rude for a complete stranger to cuss in front of someone else's kid who you don't know.

Thing is...the baby was not even crying! The b*tch complaining was making a worse racket and as an adult should have known better...the 8 month old baby...I couldn't hear a peep from it, the older woman whining was just expecting it to! I think take-off hurts a baby's ears? Some cry about it...
And yet we were all crying babies at one point . That lady seemed to cause more problems than the baby .
