Is this really a strong commercial decision considering the number of Apple tv’s in the marketplace compared to the number of Samsung tv’s that SS isn’t considering providing an app for?
@@PL-ev2mw Our goal is to bring Surfshark everywhere. Last year in 2023 Apple tvOS 17 was released which brought with it native VPN support for Apple TVs. Currently Surfshark is working on an app for Apple TV which is coming soon. If Samsung or any other TV manufacturer updates its OS to support VPNs we'll be sure to bring Surfshark there as well

Its so much hassle. Why don't you guys make an app for LG and Samsung? These days its not that expensive to get an app made. BTW I am using an LG TV and now thinking of buying a Firestick. Also I would have happily paid a dollar for the app if the app was paid too, just saying

Surfshark is nothing but a scam. Just ask Google "what's my IP address?" And it shows your real IP location. THE SURF SHARK SERVICE DOES NOT HIDE ANYTHING! THEY ARE STEALING YOUR MONEY FOLKS!!
in method 2, I don't see Surfshark VPN adaptor. Should I install Surfshark VPN software in the Windows system prior to making these changes?
I cannot see the TAP- surfshark adaptor in the network connection section in windows 11. But I can connect to surf shark using the app in windows 11. What went wrong? How can I make the adaptor reappear in the network connection/ adaptor screen?
what will happen if I use my windows desktop machine for the HotSpot feature? You mentioned "if you have a spare computer", does this mean I won't be able to use my desktop for my regular stuff?

Issue i have on my Android TV using the app with Wireguard, it's slow as hell. Router connected with Wireguard 400Mbps, turn it off on router and enable it on my TV, 45Mbps, same goes on my new Chromecast 45Mbps. I recently got firmware upgrade on my router with VPN Fusion and Wireguard, but i still need different locations sometimes on different devices and the speeds are not 4k compliant.

You Win 11 must be different to mine does NOT have Advanced Windiws settings so that is where I stopped. Can you re-edit this video ensuring 5:55 any updates to Win 11 are included

It's depends on the router, but usually it is. Some routers can choose devices that will use VPN.

If you connect a router to the VPN (say London) as you did, it there is a TV program that then requires a location to be based in USA, do you have to change that original setting?
If the router is set to UK and a computer needs a Australia based location, and another TV needs Germany, and another Laptop needs??, you know where I am going with this, can it be done?

The idea is to change the country (server) to where the TV show is played - each time.
Using the hotspot method, I get "No Internet Connection". It used to work, so I'm not sure what went wrong. I tried renaming the hotspot and reconnecting, but still not luck. Makes no difference whether I use my phone or the TV. Nothing gets sent to the hotspot.

I subscribed to surfshark on my sony android TV but after i connect to it, peacock says ...'accessing peacock through vpn is not allowed'. What to do in this case?
go into settings, and then Bypass. have the Peacock app bypass the VPN.

You can use mobile Hotspot but your mobile needs to be powerful to run more than 20 or 30 mbps so it can handle all the power it takes to play games and watch shows

You can use other TVs but you would have to use either the router method or Windows PC to share the VPN connection to that TV. For older TVs that aren't running Android I would recommend plugging in an external media device like an Amazon Fire TV stick or Google Chromecast and setup the VPN on that device via Surfshark app, it's way easier

Si ud hace click en la configuracion del video (engranaje), podra reducir la velocidad del video si lo necesita - pero lo mas importante en su caso, activar los subtitulos con la opcion de traduccion automatica al idioma de su preferencia. Eso si, no sera una traduccion perfecta pues es robotica, pero quizas le sea de mucha utilidad.

It would work if it had two ethernet ports (one wired to router other wired to TV) you can have two if you have a network card attached

Great! My Samsung 4K UHD tv os does not support SurfShark! My ISP does not allow a VPN to be installed on their router. Come on SS get your act together on the app front, I mean Samsung isn’t a bit part player in the smart tv market, is it?
We'd love to bring the Surfshark app on all TVs, sadly the operating system in TyzenOS used by Samsung TVs doesn't support VPN connectivity. For the easiest VPN setup on TVs we suggest using an external device where a VPN can be installed on like Android TV Box, Google TV or Amazon Fire TV Stick

Something I did not mention in the video, but devices like Android TVs, Fire TV Sticks and some Android Boxes have rather weak CPUs that can't handle a VPN connect speeds.
