Robin is still alive under witness protection if it wasn’t for the deadman switch he would’ve been dead. Faking his death was the only way as many still alive were telling us in their comedy acts the likes of George Carlin a perfect example. How they cancelled comedians then compared to now. They’re act gets cut from whatever venue. When you know you know when I just had to say something because I love him and I was heartbroken but I am no longer once I found out about a year ago.
"They've fired muskets and missiles at us, but ya know by the dawn's early light.. I'm still there. 🤗" I miss knowing we shared the same world, Robin. May your troubled soul rest in peace.
Robin William's art was an incredible gift. I will never forget his performance in England where he broke British humor into bits with that huge heart and incredible mind. Thanks to him for giving and to the people behind the scenes that had the courage to present him on television and in films.
Brought tears for my beloved country. We are in very bad trouble and we need more Robin Williams people to stand up for what we are SUPPOSED to be. LONG MAY WE WAVE....RED WHITE AND BLUE ...for all of us UNITED WE MUST STAND!!!!
To all of Robin's family: thank you for sharing so much of Robin with his fans. You each know him far better personally - however, he will stay in my thoughts and prayers for the rest of my life. Then, hopefully, I'll have a front row seat at one of his heavenly concerts.
Today, July 4, 2018, I fly my American flag just as proudly as I do the other 364 days of the year. Some might not be as expressive as others, but just stop for a moment and think where we would all be in America if it were not for our forefathers who honored our flag and what it stands for through the years.
Man... I remember performing this on Veteran's Day in the 8th Grade... Good Times except there were actual old veterans and a whole school counting on me to do good... Now, I'm not trying to brag, I just wanted to share a great memory of mine. This is a beautiful piece and I could never do it as good as Robin Williams himself. 😅
Do you really know that this was "off the cuff". My reaction was otherwise, but if it was "off the cuff", it was a work of genius. Either way, it was good.
Losing Robin was like losing a brother. I miss him all the time from the moment he busted out to me-grade school as Mork on Happy Days. As I Gen Xer, I think I can safely say that we grew up with Mr Robin. Thank you for sharing this because I never got to witness this televised event when it happened. IT"S GOLD TO ME!!!!!!!
My best buddy who lives in Florida sent this to me today. I hadn't seen it- Williams was an outstanding comedian and individual. What a joy to watch him- still miss him.
I'm afraid you folks may be missing the point. We are all Americans, be we liberal, conservative, republican or democrat. Sure, we have our differences, but if you you go after one of us, you go after all of us, straight, gay, black white, yellow or red. It is high time that we begin to look at ourselves as one nation, albeit a nation that loves to argue with each other, but do not let our enemies be confused. We are, and will always be, Americans. That is what ROBIN said in this piece.
Sure does. I come from strong Latino family but born and bred in great US of A 🇺🇸. Country I've learned to love, grateful to be born in, and embrace very much. Besides being born here, I served my country in the armed forces through the Army. Proud patriot and American thanks to wonders like Robin Williams. I missed out seeing him, but Robin actually paid a visit to many troops overseas. Much military and vets like myself miss him a lot.. Especially in our dark days. He is still a light for us though always ✨💛
Brilliance, brilliance personified indeed. This was ~around 1982 this was just a glimpse of the unlocked and untapped exquisite genius ready to unfold in later years with Oscar nominations and wins(note: I know he won one for good will hunting and, the other one too do not recall the other movie starred Mr. William's, but he should've won 3rd Oscar for that magnificent of performance in: 'Final Cut', I saw a few days ago) this video demonstrated the build up from the infancy of stand up comedy to Monk and Mindy television show of the 1970s to this memorable 'Flag' routine to splendid acting perfomances. Mr. Robin is the genius like so many gifted actors painters singer/song writers etc who can take names from a phone book or numbers from a board and on a fly without conscious effort create a story and emotion that is binding and outstanding period. Thank you for this upload on Thursday April 9th.
What a great performance! Don't be a fool and get distracted by irrelevant ideas about the 'stage' and other BS. His message is basic and human and simple, about our Flag. Yea!!!
Thank you so much for putting this up! It brought back memories of just how funny Robin Williams can be! I would love to see him in a remake of A Night at the Opera. Good stuff.
I really miss Robin... He is one of a very few Hollywood stars whom I had, make that - still have, respect for. A mental disease brought this bright, intellectual, caring soul down on August 11, 2014. It feels like yesterday, to me. 02/21/2016
My heart! Flies like a flag when I see his beautiful soul, he performs like an Angel.. then it’s broken knowing how he suffered for his humanity. A true Patriot. Genius. Gods best work. Bless you beyond the veil dear Robin. I pray I’ll meet you on the other side.
Thank you, Robin Williams. We will miss you and are grateful you were a part of our lives and you made us laugh. I so wish we all could have been there for you when you needed us as you cheered us all in our down moments. Rest in peace.
He was one of the best, I’am sure he is making them laugh up in heaven, this video is much needed in our country, may God bless his soul and thank him for all he had ever done😇💕❤️🍀
Couldn't have been done better - as a proud Navy Vet - I can't help but shed a tear and smile - EVERY DAMN TIME I SALUTE OL' GLORY!
A fabulous tribute to both, our country & flag, but also to Robin Williams, may he rest in peace.
Man this is sad, what an incredibly talented comedian and down to earth human. Robin may you rest in peace thank you for everything.

Stop being a downer you jerk. You suck.
Williams at the absolute top of his game. Funny yet deeply respectful at the same time.
"They've fired muskets and missiles at us, but ya know by the dawn's early light.. I'm still there. 🤗" I miss knowing we shared the same world, Robin. May your troubled soul rest in peace.
Rest in powerful peace my favorite celebrity and homie of all time 🙏

Has it been 10 years? Seems like a very distant memory. Yet, it seems that he's been with us all along. It still hurts to lose him!
Robin William's art was an incredible gift. I will never forget his performance in England where he broke British humor into bits with that huge heart and incredible mind. Thanks to him for giving and to the people behind the scenes that had the courage to present him on television and in films.
He made us laugh and died alone

Rest easy brother. You are not forgotten. Some crazy stuff going on down here right now that you would not believe. Wish us all the best, would you?
He knew about what was going on down here, he was doorknob hung, like many others, murdered for knowing too much. Just what I heard.
Hi from the future! 2021 hasn't been much better. It's our time to make or break this country
Trump 2024
@@westsurfer87 and now, it's 2024.. Will USA survive?
This absolutely makes me smile 😃 and brings a tear to my eyes as I miss Robin Williams.
That mind, and skill will long be missed. Rest in peace, sir, and thanks for sharing your gifts!

Yesterday was the anniversary of Robin's birthday. This performance was one that I really enjoy.
I'm here because the Frat Boys reminded me of this skit by our dearly missed Robin Williams. May he rest in peace

I feel this was one of the most original things he has ever done. I wish he did more off the cuff stuff like this. This was truly beautiful.
Do you really know that this was "off the cuff". My reaction was otherwise, but if it was "off the cuff", it was a work of genius. Either way, it was good.
Everything he ever did was off the cuff!
"long may you wave"
that was beautiful.
Watched this in June 14th, 2018... It was my first watch, and it is perfect for today... Thank you Robin! A classic, I say...
Love and miss you, Robin.

I miss you Robin and thank you for being patriotic at the same time~
Such great talent Robin had. And a most sad tragedy that he took his own life. May he be resting in peace with the good Lord.

has it really been that long? :'(
right U R
Yes, Robin suffered from severe Depression. He hid it well.
My Opinion The smarter you are the closer you are to insanity.
Is it not true that he committed suicide due to getting dementia?
My heart! Flies like a flag when I see his beautiful soul, he performs like an Angel.. then it’s broken knowing how he suffered for his humanity. A true Patriot. Genius. Gods best work. Bless you beyond the veil dear Robin. I pray I’ll meet you on the other side.
"you probably don't recognize me because... i'm in my birthday suit, yeah!"
LMAO! I love you rw!
Best part about this, it wasn’t rehearsed much. He pretty much just had a general idea, and made up the rest as he went along.
