    The Bent Chetler 120 is not only a flagship freeride/powder ski for Atomic-it's a ski that single-handedly represents an entire category of product and the style of skiing it encourages. Now in its 14th (!) season, the Bent Chetler family expands to include multiple narrower options. But the OG, the Bent Chetler 120, still leads the charge.
    Since its last redesign, the Bent Chetler 120 has been a staff-favorite powder ski, especially in the powder-touring category. It's playful (duh), floaty, surfy, stylish, and makes you feel like a better skier. Jordan tested it across many days on several mountains during the season gone by.
    The bottom line? While it's not a powerful big-mountain ski, it packs enough versatility to nicely complement its playful characteristics. And while you won't necessarily bust through everything in your path on the Bent Chetler 120, its light-ish weight allows you to tour with it or burn hot lap after hot lap on the best days of the year.

    Good review! I love these ski’s! The drawbacks of the ski’s diminish to almost zero after a season or two on them and you’ve really learned how to use them.

    Just purchased a pair a few weeks ago from your store. Your staff was extremely helpful over the phone. Can't wait to use them next season.

    Best review for this ski for sure. Great and thorough explanation. Can't disagree with anything you said. I own 184 120bent chetler and 180 bent chetler 100 ideal combo for everything, that replaced my old K2 hellbent, and shreditor 102.

    My favorite ski. I’m actually going to buy a second pair for dedicated resort riding. So good.

    Ya it’s a sick ski. I love it!! It’s doesn’t feel 120 underfoot at all, like 113!!

      I feel like I have seen a comment from you in every video I have ever seen about the Atomic Bent Chetler 120🤣. Also real quick how tall are you? I have been thinking of buying this ski just don't know if I am tall enough for the 176cm. thanks!

    Well i can relate tho one ski goes a bit on it’s own but still i love them about everything

    Since youre saying that the skis sometimes can be a bit unstable in deep snow, wouldnt you say that going back 0.5cm from recommended would help a bit with stability?
    Im 180cm on the 184cm like you too.

  • @Pizoo

    Hey, I measure 173 cm and weigh 135 lbs. Would you recommend the 172 cm or the 180 cm ski (for the 110s)? I'm definitely thinking that the 180cms would be better for this type of ski, but I don't have too much knowledge on this. I am an expert skier that loves dropping cliffs that size from 5-15 ft

    Hey just a question, I really would like to hear your opinion on how tall do you recommend someone to be to ride the (176 cm) skis?
    And I would say I am a advanced - expert skier, and I wanted to have a Powder/Big Mountain ski for this next years ski season. I already ride the Nordica Enforcer 110 free as my freeride ski and just want to know if you think buying this ski would be worth it? Also how big I would have to be to comfortably ride the 176cm model. Thanks!

    • @powder7skis
      @powder7skis  2 года назад

      Hey, how long are your Enforcer 110s? The Bent Chetler definitely skis short, so even if you typically ski in the low 170s, you'd be fine on the 176. It's different enough from the Enforcer to be worth it for sure!

    Hey I ski in California. Thinking of getting the 100s for daily use and 110 with shift bindings for powder | touring.
    Thinking of getting the 100s to replace my old atomic vantage theories. What do you think? 90s and 120s or 100s and 110s. Or anything else

    • @Kandalf8989
      @Kandalf8989 2 года назад

      If you didn't make decision yet, i'd say for sure go for 110. I have myself 120 and 100, for all arounder 100 is still narrow and stiff. 110 is the same profile as 120 but narrower, and same flex.

      @@Kandalf8989the 110 doesn’t have carbon stringers tho

      @Kandalf8989 Год назад

      @@niklas7468 ooh interesting. Didn’t know that. Carbon backbone indeed makes 120 bentchetler so stiff.. maybe 110 would be much more forgiving.

    Daily driver for 4 years with two pair of skis. but both pair of skis i've ripped the bindings out of in teh 2nd year. They're my favorite ski to ride but don't expect them to last long, the soft wood core just doesn't hold up to lots of ski days
