i use a plastic folder for day sheets and hand outs so it doesnt take up too much space and class notes i take down in notebooks and when i get home i read and annotate to absorb any knowledge i miss out. the notes or handouts go in ring binders at home and i only occasionally take the ring binders into school if needs be. Similar to this system but though i would share mine lol. Keep up the good work everyone we'll get through this together!
You are literally saving me right now, I've started Yr12 and I already have so many notes, I'll make to use your tips to help me be more organized than I already am. By the way ,I really liked the new setting, more of it please!!!🙏🏾
i keep a sheet with the relevant spec points at the front for each section so i know exactly what parts of spec im looking at when it comes to revision
I’m so glad I found this channel (at the start of yr12) with a guy doing the exact same a levels as me and an epq. 🙏 Could I ask what exam board ur a levels were and request a video on why you chose dentistry over medicine?
Week Two of 6th form and I am already two weeks behind. Help. I plan on catching up this weekend so this video came just in time for me to catch up with my biology and chemistry and switch sociology to history. Although, my school forces us to use a separate day folder for each subject so I need to carry all of them (but I switched them out for ring bingers instead of those big lever arch ones) . Thank you for with video, it is a great help just like all your content. Best of luck with dental school
Thank you for your amazing comment! Your school seems quite tough! We were allowed to use whatever suits us best to organise everything! Goodluck with sixth form.
If you get given school books then its up to you! My method was just if you didn't get given any books like my sixth form! I didn't realise so many people had been given books in their sixth forms!
im not sure if this is a thing in most sixth forms but i watched a lot of videos and most of them recommended a 'day folder' but after about 13 days in sixth form i havent used or touched my day folder at all, i think this is because in my sixth form they have given us books to write on with separate ones for each teacher for each subject but i also have lever arch folders that i may be using as i was told by my chem teacher to get one . in most sixth forms do you not get given books to write on and are expected to bring in your own lined paper to write notes?
Ahhh yes you are right I think. In our sixth form in nearly every lesson we just had to bring and write on our own paper which we kept in notebooks or folders. We didn't get books anymore!
fun fact : i don't have as many notes since for literature all my notes go into my reading books, for psychology i have sticky notes and summaries, for history we don't talk about the binder and for spanish geography there's my tears.
As an aspiring dentist, i would like to ask the work experience and volunteering you did in order to get in dental school. As always, thank you for everything :)
I did work experience in general dentistry, orthodontics, and surgery! For volunteering I did this in a charity! I have summarised everything in my personal statement which you can actually purchase in my description somewhere if you wish!

Hmm, I will be making a time management video which could help
@@JadenYee THANKS!!
so the folders would be used for note taking only and placing homework in, and our school books would be just for doing the school work right?
