This song has been in our worship set again recently and... Well, the lyrical theme found here has been reverberating in my soul & spirit... Impressing & magnifying the intensity of God's love & the depth of His self-sacrifice to both demonstrate His love & to willfully pay my debt of sin ~ Jesus, the Son of God (BEFORE His human birth) left His heavenly paradise to fully immerse Himself into the human experience of toil, loss, grief, sorrow & suffering ~ He gave all of Himself for our sake & benefit, motivated by pure Love=> agape love that gives unconditionally & without expectation ~ Those who believe in faith that Jesus gave His life on the Cross for their sins can receive forgiveness & full pardon. And those who believe that He conquered death & was bodily resurrected by the power of GOD are heirs in confident hope that He will return, just as He said He would. By this, we know that His Word is true & He is worthy of our full & unwavering trust ~ Jesus IS our Lord & God, the Savior King!
what he says is what God is asking from us. to give our lives to him every day and that for me is worship. to worship God and not to other pagans god.but u can;t see it your eyes are looking for repentance, punishment teachings or something else but we need to know How God Is, to get into genuine repentance. and according to the scriptures exposes U as a PHARISEE.
