YNAB is a digital type of budget envelope system. I like it because it is real time (as long as you update it everyday) without having to have multiple accounts.

If I'm seeing correctly it's $15 per month?

I used YNAB for a minute - or tried, rather. My accounts were always disconnecting and it ended up being more work.
Also, the envelopes were not intuitive for me and it got confusing with the debit/credit. I tried for a year. I really wanted to love it.

I love YNAB. I've been using it for years. It's a fantastic app and worth every penny!

      I'm using YNAB now.
There is a bit of a learning curve, but I think it's worth it.

I do something similar with folders. But I spend on an Amex card and get cashback for this. Every time I spend on the Amex card i move the same anount from the folder for that item into my Amex card. I pay my Amex card off in full monthly from the Amex folder.

I subscribed you because you are an intj. Intj are the dark horses. Outisde, they might seem to be very dull and inconspicuous, but inside they are mature than they look.

i hate to be "that guy" but the money you get back from the government is your tax refund, not your tax return.
