In this video, SFU Beedie BBA student Ashley walks us through a day in the life of a university student in Vancouver, Canada. She takes us through her college morning routine, then brings us along to her university classes as well as cocurricular events and study sessions. Are the food in the cafeteria free of charge?
No, not free! SFU offers different meal plans that you can purchase to eat at the buffet dining hall. There are also many restaurants and cafés at all 3 campuses!
Is eating noodles with bagels a normal university thing
That depends on the student, haha. If you like noodles and bagels, try grilled mac n cheese sandwiches :)
Hey, is there vegan & gluten free meals available?
Yes, SFU has multiple restaurant, café and fast food options that have vegan food available!
how much cost for rent a room?
expect $8k+ for whole year for a single bedroom
Yeah, at Burnaby it’s 10k a year for a single room and some meals
sfu need to share bathroom 😢,just rent studio apartments 12k per year and privacy

Yes, there are outlets available throughout lecture halls and tutorial rooms
