Hello this was so helpful. I finally get my American female Akita, who is 4 months old next Sunday. The breeder stated that she eats pedigree but I don't like pedigrees for dogs at all. What do other dog food do you recommend so that I can wing her off of pedigree?
Do you recommend a grooming table especially since Bending low is difficult for me? How do you get an large adult Akita on a grooming table anyway? I’ve had Akitas for 20 years but always took them to a groomer. But now I want to do it myself and especially have daily grooming sessions.
Hi am getting a akita in few weeks I have a 5 month old baby and am a first time dog owner.
@@ΠαναγιώτηςΓιαννακόπουλος-η9γ I just got a 4 month old girl and she's amazing! However, she's veeeeery possessive about toys and has been after my other dogs but she's slowly learning that it's ok to share toys and that there's space for them all! I've only had her for 3 days tho
Is it normal for 1-month old akita to be hyper and wants to play bite people oftentimes? she also has pica.
Thanks for watching! It might be a case that they need more mental and physical stimulation. Trying increasing their daily exercise and see if that's makes a difference 😊
