Blitz isnt out until late September or early October. Just a select few have gotten review units. Id love showtime and maximum hang time. Despite me being more fond and nostalgic for nba jam i think showtime is the best game. Maybe if arcade1up decides to release showtime in the future we can get a combo cab.
The censorship on the late hits in the name of safety vs how the actual league minimally suspend players with violence is ridiculous. John, no disrespect to your video but no one should buy this unit unless it's a deep sale and they're going to retro pi fit it with a rom of the ACTUAL game.

It’s also not true arcade ports of the games they where ported to android so they could edit and censor the source code to the games. I remember this game having an insane rubber-banding/comeback engine. You were better off being down one touchdown than being up five touchdowns at the start of the fourth quarter.
Wish they just did the sports station with nba showtime and blitz. I don't really need 3 versions of the same game.. . Honestly not even sure what's different.
Being from England I have minimal knowledge of how American football is played apart from the 4 downs part hopefully arcade 1up release a Association football/soccer (as you guys over the pond call it) themed cabinet, I highly doubt that they would be able to acquire any old FIFA license or even an ISS pro one either. I bought 9 total and I’ve had very few problems with them and I knew what I was getting into bc of honest reviews. I’m not saying bash the product but be honest, and I’ve noticed over the years those RUclipsrs who were giving honest reviews when they bought them with their hard earned money changed their views once free cabs were giving.

The problem with this arcade is they removed late hits from the game because they had to cause of NFL not wanting to associate with violence. Which IMO really stopped me from buying because the late hits were kinda what made Blitz something different aside from the whole arcade feel gameplay.

I want this so bad, but with Marvel vs capcom 2 coming out basically at the same time, I think I will go with the the other one just cause I think the kids would enjoy it more. This one is definitely coming afterwards though
Is there a review coming? Some are saying "great review" but I don't see this as being a review. Seeing someone build a 1up and a couple minutes of gameplay, not really indicative of what I am spending 500+ dollars on. Heard too many grumblings of the changes made. No mention of what players are missing, 8-10% possibly missing.
Super disappointing about the very P.C. but very minor change to the late hits. Why couldn't they just make it an option? I would get arrested if I drew eyebrows on the Mona Lisa. Looks very cool and fun though overall. Dan "The Man" Marino is a huge selling point for me. No Superbowl rings but still one of the best ever. ☝️🏈

Which monitor did they use? Is it the BOE monitor? What players did not make it into the game, any notables? I’m happy they gave you a review copy but people in the 3/4 arcade space have more questions than you gave us in this particular review.
Thought you were gonna be the Eagles. The late hits are one of my favorite parts of NFL Blitz, and wish they didn't take it out. Probably NFL wouldn't let them put it out if they didn't.

Great Arcade! I loved playing NFL 2000 on the PS1 back then. A new Blitz Game would be awesome.
Sadly I don't think it would because the way the nfl is today they even had to take the late hit's off, to even have this cabinet.

It is a boe monitor with 92% of the players in the games. I do not know thr missing names.
It always funny to see younger players choose teams that they grew up with as good teams but were absolutely terrible back when this game was made.
