Still really love your editing style and humor. Most of these restoration channels all do things the exact same way. You really make these your own. Keep going. This channel will be huge in no time.
Totally agree. Firstly, I love your workmanship and the finish you get with your projects, but I also you feel you inject just the right amount of something different. At the end of the day it's the restoration and the work involved that seems to draw us into these videos, and I'd hate the see "gimmicks" get in the way of that; I think you strike the perfect balance however. And yes, your camera work and editing is first rate. Looking forward to the next one.

@@vapeurdepisse true, there are a lot of things out there, where buying the low price option is viable. but tools is a category where every penny saved often results in quality loss...

Yet another fine restoration...... just like a cat... disappear as soon as there is work to be done...... Congrats on the now 81K subscribers!!! Well deserved....... definitely appreciate the humor...
Thanks Rebuilt and Restored! I’m just a little RUclipsr myself. It took me 10 months to get to 43 subscribers and six weeks ago...it went crazy. Also, Your hammered finish on the skilsaw put mine to shame! You tube will find you.
So inspirational. I love restoring my old tools and buying expensive trusty tools at a low price and restoring it. Thanks for the little tips that I didn't know until I saw this.
In an era of planned obsolescence and an ever expanding pile of waste, it's nice to see a product beautifully restored that still functions as intended. Well done and keep the format of your content going! 🤙🏻💪🏻
That turned out as sharp looking. I was curious, $6 in 1932 is equal to $108 today but you'd probably have to pay twice that to get a good steel pipe cutter like this one.
So beautiful it makes me want to cry. Amazing work. I appreciate the flow of fast/slow. Very satisfying. I also love the cat popping in and out. Makes me laugh.
This is one of my fav restores you've done. The jar of "Tears from Sanding" was a nice touch. I really like the rapid filing, grinding, etc. with the sound effects. I know it shortens the video a little but honestly if it was real time it'd take a 24/7 week to watch. Good work as per usual.
Perfect restoration! Perfect colour you choose, perfect all the polished parts( my mechanics insipiration I guess), perfect montage, perfect direction! Well done mate! Carry on!
That turned out beautiful.. I would be afraid 😨 to cut anything with that.. K.R. keep up the great work and you'll catch up with My Mechanic one day.. God Bless and take care my friend...
This is something you'd be really hard pressed to find in a tool nowadays! That thing is museum quality, looks like a Trophy! Not something you'd use on the daily. But u most definitely could! This why I love old Tools! Job well done sir!
Some of that video editing and use of lighting gave real drama and depth to this restoration! Encore une fois, mon brave. Also, the furry QA supervisor examining at every stage... priceless!
Sorry, have to make some comments. 1 ) Your video production style is really fun. Love the levity, the cat, everything. 2 ) The finished result was stunning. At first I thought you were crazy for painting but it came out so much better than I would have ever expected. It's beautiful. 3 ) I think that's it. Should have stopped with two.
85 years of gunk but underneath, the parts are all in remarkably good condition. I like to see the original drop forging imperfections cleaned up like they should have been done at the factory. And a beautiful finish!! Thank you.
Ok, I've watched several resto guys on youtube, and my only consistent one is hand tool rescue. But the look of this resto is absolutely amazing. It looks like a 3d model rendering at the end. Fantastic stuff. Subbed.
Hello! you are the greatest restorer ... I really like that you insist on the details ... keep doing it with the same meticulousness and you will have more and more subscribers! all the best :)
Thanks for the input, Bob! I agree , I might should have dialed back the silliness. I’m still new enough to this that each video is a bit of an experiment....and I wait for the comments to steer the ship.
New “Harbor Freight” crap shows why this type of restoration is not just an art form, but also a necessity. A curse on Chinesium and Thaitanium tools. Give me hundred year old steel any day.
What I love about your channel, compared to others, anyway, is that you don’t use the lathe or sandblasting equipment which makes faster work, you just put a bunch of hard work and THAT what makes this more special AND of a nicer quality!
Absolutely amazing! I just discovered this channel but I'm already in awe. The editing and humor is on point as well lol. I'm blown away by the outcome of your restorations! This channel is awesome and the cat makes it even better. 🤘😎
The final result is incredible. No one could imagine that it's the same tool and even more that's still sharp after all these years. Once again regards from Algarrobo, Chile.
You put a lot of time into this and it was perfect at the end. Washing part was too fast for me though. Looking forward to your next video. Also please say hi to your cat for me.
I’m not into tools and know absolutely nothing about tools either, but I loved this restoration… the color you used was perfect with the chrome. Even your cat loves to get in on the act, it’s that enjoyable!!! 😊👍🏻
What a great video! Your production standards are head and shoulders above all the other "restoration" channels. Plus this pipe cutter has never looked this good. You kind of made it into a work of art.
I like that it still looks industrial and not neon pink or yellow like all the other channels are doing. I would be proud to have that in my toolbox and use it
That pipe cutting skit at the end was better filmed than some movies I've seen.
13:44 It looks like a 3D drawing, almost too perfect to be real. 😎
It definitely was👍🏾
Literally. He’s good at editing. Very creative dude.
Absolutely
One could argue, the end results of all these restorations are better than new condition.
Isn't that splendid, a tool that was designed to have every part replaced if it wore out. I think you showed it the respect it deserves. Very nice.
Also seems like it was designed to never wear out lol

Pure sound, no excessive use of incredibly annoying youtube music. This is how it should be done. 👍
Beautiful - who knew that an old pipe cutter could look like a piece of industrial art! 👍👍👍
I get the feeling this guy is wearing a Dead Pool mask the entire time.
Either a Deadpool or the cowl of Batman!
Making the cat disappear with that sound was hilarious for me, I don’t know why 😅
That’s some amazing restoration work right there! Great job!
The cat blips might have been my favorite part.
@@ShanesGettingHandy I managed to let my cat disappear almost as fast as he does, but there is some irritating noise immediately afterwards...
The pre-resto state was pretty impressive for something that’s nearly 90 years old. Good work as always 👍
Actually, legitimatly a beautiful restoration
As a plumber I appreciate this. As a man who had his day turned around by this work, I subscribe. My hats off to you! Excellent production!
That is probably the most respect shown to any lowly pipe wrench. Mostly they get cranked and thrown around. Excellent Work! Really!
The fact that after 89 years it still moved at all is a testament to the era in which it was created...
Like my gramma.
People always say that. You can still buy this quality when you don't buy your tools at Walmart.

I watched this with my kids for a bedtime distraction. They were as amazed as I am at the work you do.
I heard a rumour that Tom Cruise saw your "action montage" and wants to hire you for Mission Impossible 47.
That is the best color combo I've seen in ages. LOVE IT
Great restore work, as usual, but... that celebration, the true "piece of resistance"!!!
