HOW TO CREATE & USE BOOKMARKS IN NOTEPAD++ Using BookmarksPanel Plugin

Notepad++ bookmarks are placeholder to quickly navigate between different parts (lines) in your source code. You can easily create and use bookmarks using Notepad++'s BookmarkPanel Plugin. In this video tutorial, we will learn how to create, toggle and move to previous/next bookmarks. You can also view all your bookmarks in a single window using this plugin. So, let's get started.
1. Toggle a bookmark in notepad++ (CTRL + F2)
2. Go to next bookmark in notepad++ (F2)
3. Go to previous bookmark in notepad++ (SHIFT + F2)
ARE BOOKMARKS SAVED ON NOTEPAD++ RESTART?
No! But you can use notepad++ sessions to save bookmarks.
Can I see all my bookmarks in the file?
Yes, using a Bookmark Panel plugin.

Didn't understand the 'save session' part, it seems to generate a different kind of file. Well, I think I'll understand it when I study the video about "Load and Save Sessions".

Bookmarks are usually not saved once you close Notepad++, unless you save session. Save sessions file just keeps track of what files were opened at the time and also keep bookmark lines in them. Save session file extension can be set to anything from "Preferences > MISC > Session file ext:"
