I was born 25 years after this song was recorded. My question to everyone is, why can't music nowadays be like this all the time? This song is beautiful 😎🥰😀

This album, on 45 rpm records, was the second album I owned after Louis Armstrong and the Hot Fives and Hot Sevens. I agree with those who say it is one of the greatest jazz albums ever recorded. Every solo is a masterpiece-- and Hampton-- if his solo doesn't transport you to another sphere, you aren't listening!

In the humble opinion of this old man - who blew some jazz "back in the day"- this is the greatest all-star jazz performance ever recorded.
