I’m bawling from the first performance. You can hear the age in her voice but she is still spectacular. A clock was an excellent choice. She’s phenomenal.
Same with Flower, aka Patti LaBelle. And just because age is showing in the voice, doesn’t make it any less powerful.

@RedRobin6543 I saw her at the Ontario car 🚗 show. It popped on my phone on the internet from out of the blue. Wasn't going to go because I was literally about to start paying off my debt but finagled it and went and I'm glad I did. Rented car from my job and was going to drive back and forth from la to Ontario because it was a two day event but I slept in my car from Enterprise Rent-A-Car and I didn't have to drive back and forth. I was so glad I saw Thelma Houston. she had the most energy out there out of everybody including the audience at her age. She performed for and hour if not longer and was literally jumping around the stage her whole show. I need to put her performance on RUclips once l learn how to. I'll be there this year they will be two light rock performers there this year

She was so robbed of the win. I'm honestly tired of the show bringing back the older singers disrespecting them. There was no way she should've lost this season.
This is why I don’t hardly watch it anymore. It’s so disrespectful. The 1 and only one that was understandable or tolerable was when Lady Gladys lost first season. And she came in third place behind Donnie Osmond (Peacock) and T-Pain (Monster).
The fish deserved the win.
