Greenland, the world's largest island

Greenland is the largest island in the world that is situated in the North Atlantic Ocean within the Arctic circle. Geographically the island is a part of North America continent but politically it is an autonomous territory of the Kingdom of Denmark, a European country. Greenland contains world's 10% reserves of freshwater as well as the island is full of various kinds of natural resources and at present, tourism is being very popular in Greenland. Nuuk is the capital city of Greenland as well as main center of economy and culture. Greenlandi is the official language of Greenland but Danish is also widely spoken. Though the island is famous for its beautiful landscapes but the island is a victim of global warming.
