I like how those recent-ish updates give 2kki a lot more distinct artstyle. shame, that they are behind so much old jank, but i guess that's just part of game's collab nature (though, they did reduce or remove a bunch of classic areas over time)
Would it be wrong to think that a 2kki Director's Cut would be a neat idea? Not to say I don't appreciate the heritage of it all, given how long it's been going on, but there's so much quality stuff beneath the surface of the game you could almost make a full, really beautiful standalone fangame just with that alone
2:54 which stream was this i ask as someone who eternally laments the miscarriage of dream vs dream 22:26 what ive been wondering about a lot of additions for the past couple years frankly
It was the last stream I did where I played Dream Kombat (www.twitch.tv/videos/1215809297?t=00h15m58s while it lasts - will get the YT VOD soon) which was made by Gobou, if you're familiar with them! And to your point, indeed. It's interesting as Kesh notes, the art styles are also very different when compared to some of the classic content. It's not a bad thing, just makes 2kki feel a bit like a local museum sometimes - with some really interesting things to find, but the city council don't spend any money on it so parts of it just seem out of place or dated.
I really enjoy seeing small channels have such long dedicated series. Very quaint in a way.
The game is playing me at this point
These were some nice new areas, I love the bgm in the last part
