Are you ready for this week?
Set more than a decade after the events of the first film, Avatar: The Way of Water follows the journey of Jake Sully and Neytiri's newfound family. Despite their best efforts to keep their family together, a familiar threat resurfaces and forces Jake, Neytiri, and their four children to flee to the land of the Metkayina clan.
Avatar: The Way of Water's plot will be a fully-encapsulated, standalone narrative, as will the other sequels, but will also be part of a meta-narrative that extends across Avatar: The Way of Water, Avatar 3, 4 and 5.

Whats 4DX? I've heard that term before but I never got the idea behind it.
@LTAssassin 4dx is when its 3d but the chairs also move during action scenes and e.g. if there is a rainy scene water will splash a lil to make it feel like u r there if that makes sense

We all have big dreams, but you solidified yourself as an amazing Director, which gave you the freedom to make your passion project and these movies have become a passion of myself and many others. Seriously guys, this whole thing was started by a dream he had about bioluminescent forest combined with a dream His mother had about very tall blue people. Avatar is the stuff of dreams, truly. I can’t wait for the third movie.

I feel like Cameron is one of the few directors out there that has been so successful he can pretty much ask for anything from any studio. I mean to get a studio to back a plan like this where they need to spend hundreds of millions if not a couple billion to film 3 or 4 sequels just based off the success of the first one is just insane. Hollywood like a lot of businesses can be very what have you done for me lately oriented but he’s been successful so many times you just can’t bet against him. I remember reading somewhere that he was attached to do a Spider-Man movie at one point in the mid 90’s and I wonder what that would’ve looked like with him directing

The fact that he keeps doing 4K masters of every movie except aliens and the first terminator infuriates me.
if you actually saw this remaster you wasted your money their cameras were *LOCKED* at 1080P the HDR was added in later annd they did was tweak the lighting and color they didnt do shit and the resolution is just a passed off upscale, they ripped you off believe it or not.
Now I'm realizing how much I fucked up losing my 3d glasses and not asking for new ones 😐
