Actually, I don't mind not seeing the display on, though it would be a cherry on top. I like it that it showed the unbox and install process, something I've been trying to get more info on as I am very concerned about the size. On a personal note, I just don't know if this monitor is good if you have 2 big bookshelf speakers at the sides, but I don't think you're going to get a curved soundbar that will fit the look.
WooHoo! I'm glad the video was helpful for you! Thanks for your feedback. Also in regards to your comment about curved soundbar: I'm always listening to headphones or just using the speakers on my MacBook, which are really good. Personally I don't plan on adding speakers to my setup.
No double that so many of our customers buy this monitor for their setup . Our chair cockpit support this even can hold two of this G7 monitors at same time .
Before you unwrap this monitor you need to plug it in make sure it works mine came with a cracked screen The screen was cracked right in the middle, so I had to do a return and buy a whole new one let's see what happens when the second one comes in
Fantastic Review, I really enjoyed it. I ordered one recently, and I used your video to help set mine up! The only difference I encountered - which made me a little nervous, is that I didn't have any protection to remove from the front of the screen, but did have some protection to remove of the back of the screen - which is weird. I wonder if any fellow owners had the same packaging issues.... I'm nervous that my monitor isn't new....
You may want to contact Samsung and check if they still ship with front screen protector that need to be removed. I think it was a GOOD IDEA if they had removed them... because when removing it, it is impossible to remove ALL of it, a few pieces are still stuck on my monitor, too much effort to try to remove them.
@@UTECHPIA Thank you for taking the time to reply! You're a legend - and your G9 57" review was my real-time go-to as I unboxed my own monitor. It was great! How can you run it at 240Hz? Even with DP2.1 you do not have enough throughput for it right? DP2.1 is maxed out at 77.37 Gbps afaik At 10bit colour depth (3x10 because 3 colour channel): 7680 x 2160 x 3 x 10 x 240 bit bandwidth per second = 119.439... Gbps At 8bit colour depth: 7680 x 2160 x 3 x 8 x 240 = 95.551... Gbps Both are more than the cable can handle based on my understanding

It’s not it’s a mini LED display, I think he either got a “different” neo g9 that I didn’t know existed but I have always known the g9 series for either being Quantum Mini Led or OLED, nothing else.
@@ReasonRaider It's Quantum Mini-Led backlight with a VA panel. The backlight and panel are 2 separate things. It's also Full Array Local Dimming with thousands of independently dimmable zones.
I don’t trust Samsung cables after my 1.7 thousand dollar Ark monitor came with a shitty cable that couldn’t even render 4K usable let alone 8k and yes it was display port. Loads and loads of other people seem to be reporting this on Reddit so I’m not the only one.
Yeah, I didn't planned it out too well. Sorry about that. It took me an hour to unbox it and then I didn't have the chance to turn it on and test it out. I'll create an updated video soon, thanks for your feedback.

This is actually a VA panel and not IPS

Currently it's impossible I think. nVidia RTX 4090 is the most powerful video card and it doesn't support 4K 240hz.
Radeon card is tbe o ly one at this poimt to support this resolution
@@augus01990mbl 4090 can do it but Nvidia cheaped out on the port.
Hello
One question here, I'm gonna buy it in another country and is it safe to put it on plane? is factory wrapping inside outside is good for that?
I have no experience here.... But from what I can tell the factory packaging should be sufficient for transportation.

It still works well!! It is a great productivity monitor! I highly recommend it! 👍
Thank you so much 😊
You actually have to connect the monitor with both the DP cable and HDMI?
There's multiple options. If you have a powerful PC it can run it on one cable. But my computer is old so I ran it as TWO 4k signals.
Awesome!
Thanks!
What is your desk size? I wanted to know the size of the stand
Good Video but it is as VA panel and not IPS as you mentioned.

is it 30 pounds or 42 pounds? the product description says 42 pounds.
The INCLUDED stand is HEAVY! The Monitor Weight with Stand is 41.9 Ibs. Just the monitor by itself is 34 Ibs.

There is no way this thing is good in that space, this needs a deep table or the user's eye will be messed up in a week.
so far, my eyes are really HAPPY with all these pixels :)
