I think they didn't do that because Loki's resurrections _was_ referenced in the films themselves. Neither is it a theme that recurs in _all_ Marvel films. He doesn't come back from the dead in Iron-Man, Guardians of the Galaxy or Doctor Strange, does he? However, dad-issues and the bad guy being an "evil twin" of the hero has been a trope of multiple films from the MCU.
While I will admit my dad is no nerd and doesn't understand half the stuff in the MCU, he did spend ten years taking me and my bro to these movies with no complaints and will occasionally watch them on DVD with us.

Shang -chi, nwh, Loki, moon knight, Wakanda forever, holiday special, gotg vol 3, wandavision and what if were VERY good, it was a like a platter, it had everything, but in a small amount, fatws had great action choreography and story', Hawkeye had just FUN and chill, ds mom was a visual masterpiece with mind- blowing bgm,
