How hard is it for a human to give sugar to an ant? I have 3 kilos of sugar in my house but even a spoonfull would be the difference between life and death for an entire colony.
How do you get an ant to pay attention to the other ant? Brute force it and kill all the ants until only those 2 are left. Then you go about your day.

As a parent who lost their own child, I... cannot overstate how terrifying this is. Just the recap alone left me staring a thousand yards away, unmoving and honestly fearful while hearing of the pig child. Truth is I don't know if I would've done differently. I've had those restless nights. The tearful sobs, apologizing again and again to your child that you couldn't save them, that you couldn't have done more to protect them. If they were out there, in the garden, maybe I would go and see them too...

I think it is hugely important to tell this kind of story so that we can imagine all the ways that chaos gods can corrupt humans with subtlety over time. Especially because Imperial citizens aren't made aware of the ruinous powers. @@Subbedhunterin my early to mid 20s i was the senior supervisor for a cleaning company where i was managing over 70 job sites and over 100 employees and i worked 2 shifts a day, my job was basically to drive around to various job sites to either check in on workers and ensure they were actually there and not just clocked in via phone and then went home (which happened a lot more than you would think), to preform surprise inspections to make sure they were doing the work properly and not wasting time/supplies or being intentionally slow to stretch out their hours, and also go to a site if an employee called and had some kind of problem with either their equipment or supply issue, but the biggest part of my job was covering for employees who either called in sick or quit without notice, and each shift i could expect at least 10 to 15 employees not showing up for one reason or another so i had to clean all those properties myself ranging from small homes to full factories where we were expected to clean the factory floor and the equipment. So my typical work week consisted of me working from 9 am to 7 pm, sleep for 3 hours then wake up and eat a pre-cooked meal, then work from 11 pm to 5 am, sleep another 3 hours and eat another pre-cooked meal and then rinse and repeat monday through saturday, then on sundays either i meal prepped for the coming week or sometimes my girlfriend would do it for me and allow me to sleep for most of the day. It was literal hell. It literally saps any and all will to live from you and you feel like a zombie. So these stories in 40k hearing about the crazy hours the citizens of hive cities work always hit with just that little bit of extra impact cause i am deeply familiar with how miserable it is working those types of hours doing a job you hate but need to survive and how if you let it, it will destroy your outlook on life even when you're doing it for the right reasons.

While I do eat meat and will forever do so due to how nutritious it is. The industrialized process of which these pigs are (sometimed) slaughtered can seem very undignifying. In most places they're killed or rendered braindead very quick and whatever happens after that who cares

Yeah I worked for a local council as part of a troubled families programme, basically helping to deal with cases of domestic violence, a whole lot of the cases were men who worked at a local slaughterhouse, it was like a factory churning out violent people. I'm really surprised there's not much regulation (despite claims there is)

Love the implication of Garrett jumping into the meat grinder being more than likely what cost the war.
Garrett was most likely suffering from the same pox as the Narrator was. Him being turned into hamburger meant the troops at the front lines were served diseased food.
Strongly hinted at by the Narrator's SO coming back infected and poxxed.

Not just the hand wound, but also thr jolly attitude towards the overseer, the adoration to life, the repireve from pain. Got to give it to Papa nurgle, it may make you stinky, but as least it also makes you happy

I always wait for those with anticipation, sure there are others who do something similar but... yours are just better.
And it's not like the short videos are worse, oh no. But you gotta love to listen from time to time 1 hour+ of just lore, or horror in this case.
Keep up the good work Wess, and thank you for giving me something really good to watch especially when I'm almost everything time regenerating from the effects of chemotherapy.
