Everyone makes him out to be a wimpy scaredy-cat, but really, C -3PO's really wholesome. He's just loveable, and the tough adventures of the Prequel Trilogy explain why he's no longer easily convinced in the Original Trilogy (not that I ever thought that was a problem)

Wait a minute, I think there’s something missing. Oh yeah, didn’t C-3PO say this in the 2nd Prequel? “I’m not worried R2. It’s just that I’ve never flown before.” 2:36 Before this part happened. 3:57 That also reminds me, he said another word when his head was on the body of a Battle Droid when he was marching with the other Battle Droids. “What’s all this noise? A Battle?! There’s been some terrible mistake! I’m programmed to etiquette, not destruction!” 4:08 Before he said this word since he’s on a Battle Droid & couldn’t control himself. 4:10-4:12 Literally, he couldn’t help it & control himself.
Young Anakin: _"He's a protocol droid to help Mom."_ HOW is an "etiquette and protocol" droid useful in a slave household? Also, he doesn't HAVE to be a protocol droid right NOW, Lucas! Droids can be re-programmed! Hey, here's an idea: when we meet C3P0 for the first time, he could have a completely different personality. We could get to know him over the course of 3 movies and then, when they erase his memory at the end of the third movie, we would actually feel BAD for him, like they're killing a real person. Instead, his reprogramming is treated like a "ha ha please laugh" moment. Humans in the Star Wars universe have a monstrous blind spot when it comes to their treatment of droids.
3:42, C-3PO: *”OH NO!!”* Sorry, but in the Star Wars universe, they want to have it both ways with droids. What I mean is, Droids are either meant to be relatable and cheered upon, or Laughed at when misfortune comes to them.
In my honest opinion, having Anakin put C-3PO together was one of the most silly, unnecessary, eye-rolling decisions of the prequels. Such an insanely ludicrous, "shark-jumping" coincidence, with no point. It took me out of the movie. It'd be like if 20 years after Lord of the Rings, in another film, they decided to make Saruman Pippin's father. Just like _what on earth_ - why? 😂

The wipe of his memory at the end of the prequel is a mere trick to try to explain why he doesn't recognize anybody nor any place !
C-3PO: Hey 👋
@@sammywestenberger9303lol
The saddest thing about Star Wars is that Luke and Leia never find out that their father built 3PO
I think they did find out in the EU, but disney nuked that
But yet that also explains why Vader stop boba from trying to shoot chewie . Because he doesn’t want to see his droid get damaged again by mistake.
Well they need erase memory until during end of ROTJ
That's because BS was added in the prequels.

I love old movies where not everything was cgi. Real dolls like this is another level.
If C-3PO is naked when his wires are showing doesn’t that mean he’s wearing a crop top after episode one
the wires he wears in other movies has a rubber mat looking thing behind them. So he's wearing a vest, not a crop top
