    Have you recently move into a new home like me and you want to create a positive space for you and your family?
    Join me as I tour you in my new home and show you my very first smudge my new home.
    Smudging a new house could take place on the day you move in, which would helps get rid of negative energies left over from before you were there. Smudging your home could be part of a daily cleansing ritual, one that helps you to feel at peace with yourself and your routine. No matter why you choose to smudge your home, the most important thing is to smudge with good intention, and with the desire to produce a positive outcome.
    Smudging can both banish negativity and attract positivity, so as long as you begin the smudging ceremony with the clear intention of cleansing and purifying yourself and your home, you will find success.

    We are moving into a new home this weekend too. :) I am wondering... ideally would you want to smudge after your items are all unpacked and in their place? Or does it not matter? Thank you for sharing!

    Could you make a video explaining where evil comes from? I think it would be very interesting to understand the indigenous perspective on this. Many people from different cultures have different opinions on what evil is and I'd love to hear yours.

    I can attest that the Abalone shell does get quite hot. Keeping the tips of the fingers to the outer edge helps unless you want to rid your fingers of finger prints.😏

    Thank you so much for this video! You are always so welcoming and warm:) I am excited that you moved into Peterborough as I live close by there as well. I do have one question, I have been told by others that only Indigenous people should be smudging and so have never done it because I don't want to offend people. Do I understand it correctly that you believe that anyone can smudge as long as it is done respectfully and with reverence ?Thanks again for these informative videos.

      I have heard that more in terms of using white sage as smudge. I believe you can use substitutes. I use Sandalwood incense that is local here.

    I'm hoping this doesn't sound too negative. I'm new to smudging and had followed directions on one of your previous videos. My house is up in a rural area on the side of a dormant volcano/mountain in NM (Turquoise Mountain, 1 of the 4 holy Corners to Navajo/Dine people, and no I'm not an indigenous tribe member) - I've been here for almost 5 years and have learned in that time that this place has kind of a bad reputation for reasons unknown to me. Anyway, smudged my house and apparently made something/someone quite angry! Bad occurrences! An acquaintance informed me that I had no business smudging - to stop immediately! Not an activity for a neophyte! Any feedback from you would be much appreciated. I recognize now how powerful an endeavor this is...

    • @MalloryRoseCo

      Anyone is allowed to smudge! Don't let anyone tell you otherwise :)

    • @RedCanyonWolf
      @RedCanyonWolf 3 года назад

      Are things happening in the home now? Or do you mean bad occurrences from people finding out you smudged? A lot of different cultures smudge as well so I agree with tribal trade when I say anyone is allowed to smudge.

    • @lee.m.506

      @@RedCanyonWolf hi - household items disappearing (sometimes reappearing, but not for days). A couple of almost possible catastrophes such as tripping on the stairs and almost falling. Most disturbing is a sense of pervasive, unhappy tension between myself and my partner that has escalated rapidly into serious "blow-ups". My desired, peaceful abode has not occurred. I'm hoping that "whoever, " or "whatever" will calm back down and my household can return to its former semi-negative status. Some extra info, this spot has been frequented for a few hundred years at least by Indigenous People's. Pottery shards and obsidian EVERYWHERE! Didn't mean to make anyone angry...😶

    • @RedCanyonWolf
      @RedCanyonWolf 3 года назад

      @@lee.m.506 I grew up in a house that was super negative. I also use tourmaline and selenite in each corner of my house. It sounds like there is something crazy happening. But it can’t hurt to try. I use the stones and my smudging. Good luck with making your home more positive. I’m interested to hear more.

    • @MalloryRoseCo
      @MalloryRoseCo  3 года назад

      @@lee.m.506 I would add sweet grass to the smudge for the odd happenings in the home, and when you and your partner are having an intense discussion, the speaker should hold the sweet grass in ones hand. This will help ease the tension and help communicate more effectively. We hope this helps! We also have many RUclips Videos on effective smudging so check our collection too :)
